He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 9] Episode 58: The
Once and Future Duke by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: this episode is average.
He-Man/Battle Cat: individually or together have some
good action sequences, He-Man has this running around sequence which is
interesting. Battle Cat has this jumping sequence, where he jumps up to go and
rescue this character in mid-air which looks really good [whilst I am on the
subject I see the riding sequences as these two characters working together.]
Cringer: this character in this episode just reminds us the audience how sweet
or afraid of things he can be, when at the beginning of this adventure [a moth
or butterfly] sits on his nose for a second or less, firstly he is frightened
and then secondly he just hides underneath his two front paws.
Orko/Boy character: individually or together they are just
so boring or irritating.
Artistic visions: the dangerous flower [I have forgotten
its name, but you will not be able to miss it, it is near to the beginning of
this episode.] This flower may look really colourful and pretty yes but also
pretty dangerous as well [it looks like it is trying to eat a character from
this episode.]
Ending message: in a nutshell it talks about swimming safety
This episode receives: 53% approval, now this percentage is
based on the fact that Orko and this boy character are as I have already said
individually or together are just so boring or irritating, but let me put it
this way if we didn't have Orko in this episode and the boy character wasn't so
annoying, this episode would have got comfortably placed somewhere in the 60%
approval ratings, Because as I have roughly outlined in this review, there is
enough here for at the very least this episode to be interesting to its
viewers.
