Review Time: now I have seen this film a decent amount of times
and I still can't make it out, from the perspective of is this sequel a comedy
or a science-fiction film title or is it both or something else.
News reports/News reporters: these elements are incredibly funny
for their over-the-top personality traits or in some sequences you have to
wonder as an audience member why would these characters or News reporters want
to be around these locations in the first place, to be fair these are not the
only comedy elements in this project I mean there are pockets of other comedy
moments [but it does depend if you find them funny or not, in a nutshell you're
never quite sure if they are or were trying to be comical or not throughout
this sequel.]
Action sequences/Fundamental core/Storyline: there
are plenty of weapons being used; plenty of death and so on and so forth, it is
somewhat difficult to describe this film generally speaking. Because from
beginning to end it is quick, but not in-depth [without giving too much away,
unless I missed something, they don't really tell us the audience why this
Predator has come here or anything like that, all we know is the Predator [or a
Predator] is back on Earth.
This film receives: 60% approval, yes absolutely this sequel
has its problems or downfalls, but however it is somewhat entertaining, be it
the comedy elements or the action sequences or this cast of performers and
their character developments being reliably interesting, so having said all
that I think this percentage of approval is just about right.
