Review Time: now straight off the bat, it is confession time
whilst I was watching this film title I had to stop it, because something came
up and not because of my standard reasons for stopping a film title at some
point [boredom or it being a rubbish film.] There is one thing I don't like
about this project though and that would be the subtitles [there are many
reasons why I don't like them, but I will pick just one reason, these subtitles
are too quick on and off screen for me to read them.]
Cast: there is excellent chemistry between all of these performers, their
dialogue exchanges [depending where you are in the film,] it has a very good
mixture between family or friends topics in one scene or sequence, but
potentially in the next scene or sequence with the same characters or some
other characters, they could be talking about business and what needs to be
done or the film could breakaway to another selection of characters or
something else.
Now minus a small
amount of these characters [without saying too much the henchmen] which are in
this film, the rest of them all have some kind of respect for one another,
including the character chasing these criminals [it isn't so much about
respect,] but he understands that these criminals are not your average criminals
so everything that he and his unit do has that kind of tone.
Fundamental core/Action sequences: this
film moves like grease lightning from beginning to end, the atmosphere controls
and the scene consistencies have a very clear idea to what they are doing at
every stage which in turn assists different elements coming in and out of this
title, including the action-packed sequences which have a good variety to them
as well, it could be chasing sequences, weapons being used or jumping off
things or many other impactful sequences.
This film receives: 80% approval, for me this title is
where they freshened this franchise up and moved it on to bigger and better
things.
