From dysfunction a family is born: everyone from Peter Quill/Star-Lord [younger Peter Quill; Wyatt Oleff/older Chris Pratt] to Ronan the Accuser [Lee Pace] is looking for this sphere, so he can complete a deal with a future life changer. The pacing for this 122 minute film is very good, because there is a lot to experience in one way or another.

The art is very clear to see from a very near to the beginning of the film until its two extra scenes [one at the very beginning of the ending credits and the other right at the end.] We begin looking from outer space to this planet known as Mograg: M31V J00443799+4129236 which is abandoned planet; it instantaneously transports interviewers from our world into this outer-space and everything else moving on from here, there has been so much of a high imagination and creativity put into this project, it can range from the outer-space and planets scenes to landscapes and scenery to visual and physical representation of our characters from Ronan having him being woken from his sleeping chamber [over this simultaneous dialogue with a Xandarian captive which has been put in this highly sophisticated stockade] including his assisted routine of getting ready from these three priestess. After finishing this dialogue exchange Ronan with his weapon of choice "The Universal Weapon" or "Cosmi-Rod" in hand [ which he picked up a few moments earlier] takes this powerful rainbow strike down on this Xandarian's head/face and squashes it; like that game at Fair with the mallet and you have to ring the bell at the top to show your strength; this is just the basic/kind of version of what he does here and the reason why I said this stockade was highly sophisticated, is because the blood trickles down from this into Ronan's sleeping chamber so he is sleeping/bathing fully immersed in the blood of his victims; well at least he is recycling so he isn't all that bad and yes this very much does set the tone for him throughout the rest of this film.

Much later on; Groot /Baby Groot [voice by Vin Diesel] lights the way for the Guardians of the Galaxy with on some research bioluminescence which basically means organisms which are glowing bright; this is enchanting and elegant.

On to the action: Rocket Raccoon; he hates being called a raccoon [voice by Bradley Cooper] vs. Drax the Destroyer [Dave Batista] under the influence of too much drink, onto my favourite action sequence; Yondu Udonta [Michael  Rooker] has one of the most highly anticipated action sequences in this film [I can say this because they build it up in the film.] When he uses his weapon of choice The Yaka Arrow; it has on some research a very strong connection with its controller and because it is built up in this film I won't give it away, I needed to make reference to it in this review though. But it is well worth waiting to see it in action. We also have sister vs. sister [I know they are each adopted] on Ronan's ship by the name of The Dark Aster [which all of these action sequences including the ones I haven't discussed are taking place either on this ship or on the outside of this ship] Nebula [Karen Gillan] vs. Gamora [Zoe Saldaña;] with other simultaneous action sequences going on, so we come to this action sequence now and again until its conclusion.

The is plentiful and because I am chronologically at the end of this film in my head; I will give you one example of the comedy and I am paraphrasing here. Where we have Rhomann Dey [ John C. Reilly] a Corpsman in the Nova Corps, Nova Empire's military and police force telling The Guardians of the Galaxy that their criminal records have been expunged with Rocket and Drax having some questions for Dey about this; which you can clearly see, feel and with his responses he gets the feeling that these clean records are not going to last too long. But then again they might as he gets reassured by Peter Quill/Star-Lord.

Character developments/performances: as mine previous paragraph would support that these character developments are perfectly balanced to show this dysfunctional yet functional harmonious character developments between The Guardians of the Galaxy. But for all the other characters they are likewise designed and laid to be really high quality versions of what character they are meant to be and yes I don't know to much about these characters, so I am just very much basing this on if these characters or their character developments were weak in comparison they would stick out like a sore thumb or thumbs. This is a complete cast performance of live-action and voice performances; there is free-flowing and faultless chemistry from everyone involved.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment: as I have clearly shown throughout this review this film has so much to offer and more that this mark is easily deserved. Of course this film title has many, so many awards accredited to its name; 52 Winners that include Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 2015; Saturn Award; Best Director James Gunn, Best Make-Up David White Elizabeth Yianni-Georgiou and Best Comic-to-Film Motion Picture. Detroit Film Critics Society Awards 2014; DFCS Award Best Ensemble Chris Pratt Zoe Saldana Dave Bautista Vin Diesel Bradley Cooper Lee Pace Michael Rooker Karen Gillan Djimon Hounsou John C. Reilly Glenn Close Benicio Del Toro Laura Haddock Sean Gunn Peter Serafinowicz Christopher Fairbank. Nominees 102; that include Academy Awards, USA 2015 Oscar Best Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling Elizabeth Yianni-Georgiou David White and Best Achievement in Visual Effects Stephane Ceretti Nicolas Aithadi Jonathan Fawkner Paul Corbould. BAFTA Awards 2015; BAFTA Film Award Best Make Up & Hair Elizabeth Yianni-Georgiou David White and Best Special Visual Effects Stephane Ceretti Paul Corbould Jonathan Fawkner Nicolas Aithadi. But I know this is hard to believe but this film actually does have a negative Nominee to its name of; Golden Schmoes Awards 2014; Golden Schmoes Most Overrated Movie of the Year and they should just point out that this award is here for some reason; Central Ohio Film Critics Association 2015 Actor of the Year Chris Pratt For The Lego Movie.

This is a masterclass performance from Jim Carrey as Fletcher Reede: Max Reede [Justin Cooper] makes a birthday wish on his fifth birthday that for one day his father can't lie, which this presents a massive problem for Fletcher as on when it comes true he has no filter, he has to tell the truth at all times, as a lawyer with very little moral compass the next 24 hours are going to be hell; yes the storyline is straightforward.

The pacing of this 86 minutes film is good; I am not going to even attempt to stretch out this review, simply based on the fact that as I have already made reference to this is a masterclass performance from Jim Carrey as Fletcher Reede, it takes Jim's lively, charismatic and enthusiastic nature to make this film in the comedy or/and the action as he puts in so much effort to be self-discipline with the truth that eventually it slips out or comes out complete gibberish as he tries to liar or for a sequence in a nutshell version we have Fletcher having this separate entity with his writing hand with this blue pen, all it has to do is write a word "Red" at this point in this sequence on his table, he says to his writing hand write it or I will break it off" [meaning his own hand] he laughs because his hand begins to write something it says " Blue!!" This is where his writing hand turns on him and it tells the truth visually as it writes it all over his face.

Character developments and the performances: the character developments are safe and reliable versions of what they are meant to be and minus Jim the cast performances are all good; you know it must have been sometimes difficult to keep a straight face working with him as some of these closing credits of the first lot of credits will show when he wants to go off script being deliberately or blooper he just cracks them up.

This film receives: 9/10, this film is excellent; at this point it may be redundant to say this; but without Jim Carrey this film would have easily fallen to its knees, this is one of those films once in your lifetime or every decade or so. This should be absolutely no surprise that this film has awards accredited to its name. Won 4 that includes ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards 1998; ASCAP Award Top Box Office Films John Debney and Blockbuster Entertainment Awards 1998; Blockbuster Entertainment Award Favorite Actor - Comedy Jim Carrey. Nominees 6 including [from the same award ceremony/event] Favorite Supporting Actor - Comedy Justin Cooper and Favorite Supporting Actress - Comedy Jennifer Tilly as Samantha Cole.

Locate and destroy these missiles: we have this Navy Seals unit led by Lieutenant James Curran [Michael Biehn] as they go into this hostile location at [Seaport, Easton Mediterranean] to rescue these pilot and crew of this Navy helicopter [Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King] which was trying to rescue some people themselves in the first place on their way out they discover that Ben Shaheed [Nicholas Kadi] has these missiles at his disposal. The pacing of this 113 minutes film is very much of late 1980's and 1990's action film, which I am not being a sexist here. But if you have been around between this timeframe or earlier you would easily remember; the testosterone fuelled films which had the following; basic storyline, guns, a bit of comedy, masculinity, basic character developments, blowing things up, women in supporting roles and did I forget to mention testosterone; well that is what we have here consequently the pacing is stable you know; it knows what it is doing and sticks to plan.

I mean as it relates to the comedy, character developments and action we have this wild card by the name of Lieutenant Junior Grade Dale Hawkins [Charlie Sheen] which is the second in command of this unit. Basically we have this Jeep [ this one has its roof off] whilst Curran, OSC; SEAL/SW William "Billy" Graham: Team Chief [Dennis Haysbert] and Hawkins are off to Graham's wedding as Graham is wondering if he is doing the right thing by marrying Jolena/Jo [S. Epatha Merkerson] Hawkins after hearing enough of this decides to jump out of this moving vehicle whilst we are on a bridge into this sea with saying "See you later." Curran reversing and throwing out Hawkins jacket to him, Graham saying how crazy he is with Curran saying I hope he dies of pneumonia, with Graham still not believing what he is just seen with Hawkins's jacket ending up next to him in the sea with him saying " Thank you."[ Yes I have paraphras and censor some of this dialogue] with Hawkins turning up to wedding hitching a lift.

The action generally speaking is a good mixture of air, land, in the sea and underwater the sky or/and the underwater sequences has art to them as well.

Character developments and performances; generally speaking they are solid versions of what they character types, so the performances are good as well.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; I mean it does what it says on the side of the tin " Navy Seals" as I have very much highlighted in this review this is a specifically 1990's testosterone fuelled action film.

The storyline as you may have gathered it is something safe and reliable in a nutshell it is revenge on top of revenge. The pacing of this film which is roughly 93 minutes long is pedestrian, like I said to the person I watched this film with or I am paraphrasing here "At some point this film will get quicker." [Later on] "I don't think this film will get quicker." The other person "Nope."

The character developments/performances; the character developments are firstly predictable, as I pointed out to the person I watched this film with after this promise was made and in fairness and balance I got my second prediction wrong or/and reliable versions of what they are adequate at best, minus one individual which I will discuss now.

The action and comedy; firstly there isn't much of action to talk about well for here there isn't other than this quad bikes chasing sequence and this can be seen as action and comedy. Now for some strange reason there is this vent like passageway which no one closes behind them, which basically means someone trying to find them or the next person it's like this massive indicator “Yes they went this way."

But like its predecessor there is only one reason you should watch this film CIA Agent Robert Michaels [Bruce Willis] even though he has problems with his disability [Aphasia] shows through by a little bit of dubbing/other, but I am not going to focus too heavily on his disability, because my point is this; once an action hero/individual always an action hero/individual as you will see he has the attitude of old as in you still got it you know that feel and look of an action hero/individual so as I made reference to in the previous paragraph there isn't much action, but Bruce tries to bring the action to the table in his own, in actual fact I have decided to award another mark because of what Bruce brings to the table; it is him being him or the action version of him. 

This film receives: 2/10, this film is poor; if you want two words why you should watch this sequel “Bruce Willis."

Member of the dMp [Demon Making Plant] Kevin Mask: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Art and Action; we get his origin/back story of how he came to be with the dMp with the trusted and reliable form of storyteller with mental imagery that format. Yes he is the son of Robin Mask of the Muscle League/trainer at the Hercules Factory, he has this fantastic tattoo on his back of basically this giant spider's web these people stuck with then it, possibly and this is only speculation but to possibly symbolise vanquished souls or possibly he is a lost soul. I should just point out extra imaginative highly creative thing about this body art is it only comes up when he powers up [you are looking for a purple glowing for the rest of the time you won't be able to see it as his back looks like a clean canvas no tattoo visible.]

We are at this venue known as The Slam Dome Kevin performs this new finisher by the name of "Big Ben Bash" on one half of the IWF [Intergalactic Wrestling Federation] Tag Team Champions Voyager or Harrelson; there is two parts to this finisher Kevin grabs their arms and crosses them his opponent should be on their knees by now from the pain, but more importantly the reason why he crosses their arms is when he then throws them up in the air they go up, so far up twirling in the air then he jumps up to meet them to lock in this crucifix but instead of a pin it turns into a type of piledriver to him into ring mat below.

This episode receives: 9/10, this episode is excellent it has a lot of variety, the more you watch of it the better it gets.

Mantaro Kinnikuman/Kid Muscle vs. his father King Muscle: Character [Character developments,]  Action, Art and Comedy: Kid Muscle's birth name is Mantaro Kinnikuman. We have Kid having this contest of wills with this mystery opponent which breaks down into this duet of this piece of classical music; Symphony No. 5 by Beethoven and they say there is no culture in cartoons, but wait I should really point out this contest and this duet is based around farting.

This episode receives: 9/10, this episode is excellent: it is wrestling mixing with laughs and don't forget the culture as well.

Alan: Storyline, Character [Character developments] and How long did this want to take?; These combined in one way or another. Alan is in chemistry class with Rocky and the rest of The Power Rangers. There is this accident where Alan misreads these instructions that he has also written down in his book. Mr. Wilton says to Alan I am paraphrasing here. I will have to talk to the coach about you not playing in the next match until your grades have improved. Alan says it is the big game [Rocky steps in] What happens if I study with him? Mr. Wilton agrees not to tell the coach. Well it transpires that Alan is dyslexic which is why he has problems with words and numbers. This is where how long did that want to take? Because straight off the bat dyslexia is words and not numbers; I knew it had a different name but I had to look it up; that goes by the name of dyscalculia and just to cover my back if you are thinking that maybe in the mid-1990s it wasn't discovered, well you would be wrong it was discovered in 1919 and just for fairness and balance dyslexia was discovered in 1871. But sadly and this is important in the UK it took until 2010 to be recognised in schools under the Equality Act 2010. Alan has both learning difficulties here, but I will cut this episode some slack, because I remember these days very well indeed having certain learning difficulties was not accepted or frown upon for my own personal experience it took me until I got to college to get tested for dyslexia, my mother was pushing for me be tested much earlier but with no success. I have it all upstairs as in intelligence and so on, but I couldn't physically because of my disability and learning difficulty struggle to get it down on paper [if you're wondering how I do these blogs I speak into a headset and it appears on the screen; likewise I didn't find out this software and hardware until I got to college.] But no surprising when I found out I had a learning difficulty and learnt to adapt to it and deal with it to the fashion I mellowed out, I wasn't an angry person but frustrated, I am still a bit frustrated to this very day because of my other issues. But I don't preach, but I would recommend if you have a feeling that your child has learning difficulties going to get them tested, because it is important for them to realise some of the things they do may not be their fault and consequently or hopefully they may calm down and learn to adapt to their situation and hopefully not hide behind it and finally there is a difference between these learning difficulties and not just being very good at it, like for an example I am good with maths numbers and the basics on that, but anything higher I am just not very good with that and the veil of dyscalculia doesn’t come down like mine dyslexia does from time to time.
