Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE Survivor Series 24/11/1988 Match 1/Part 1 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE Survivor Series 24/11/1988 Match 1/Part 1 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Chosen by: You; well after my first question on social media didn't get any votes, some days later I tried again with this:so you have roughly about 100 minutes to tell me what brand pay-per-view I am reviewing next? From these options; WWF, WCW, ECW or WWE/NXT; reply for W or N. So with 100% WWF gets chosen by somebody, thank you for your participation whomever you are. So I quickly came up with the idea as we are coming up to Thanksgiving and this year's WWE Survivor Series 2021 [Date: 21/11/2021] I would choose this pay-per-view.

Warning/Disclaimer: there is flashing effects/colourful effects and Disclaimer; I am not or never likely to be a professional wrestler.

Background information: we get welcomed by Monsoon into this pay-per-view and saying [Description; this grey logo of the WWF Survivor Series[ In this light brown rusty look] and place name Richmond Coliseum in yellow text with Monsoon talking about this and then on-screen saying "Happy Thanksgiving" and then he introduces Venture has Jesse "The Pilgrim" Venture [dressed up as one to so I went with that name as well;] Venture I give thanks basically in a short dialogue building up this pay-per-view giving this there is no other place I would rather be than [enter place name here] little promo/speech.

Match/Stipulation: Co-Captains; Brutus " The Barber" Beefcake & the Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior, The Blue Blazer, Sam Huston & Jumping Jim Brunzell vs. Captain; The Honky Tonk Man [with Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart,] "Dangers" Danny Davis, Greg " The Hammer" Valentine, " The Outlaw" Ron Bass & Bad News Brown: 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 7/10

Match Storyline: 7/10

Crowd Participation: 10/10

On Commentary: Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse "The Pilgrim" Venture 8/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 7/10

Recommend Watch: 7/10

Match Total: 46/60 - this match is excellent

Comments: to begin with we have the crowd participation/reaction being mostly on maximum from The Ultimate Warrior's entrance music hitting [on a little bit of research track title Unstable by Jim Johnson.] The crowd go a little quiet, but they are still there, you know it is one of those occasions where they need a moment to have a breather and get some energy, but it would be extremely harsh of me not to give 10/10; on a quick side note briefly it was a stroke of genius to have The Ultimate Warriors come out first. I'm not disrespecting any other of his teammates but however if you want to begin your pay-per-view with a very loud bang and to get your crowd instantaneously engaged and pumped up The Ultimate Warrior gives you this; with a limitless supply and generally speaking it should set the tone for the rest of the pay-per-view.

Next a botch, in short you are looking for The Blue Blazer performing a leapfrog on Valentine and let's just say he just about gets over Valentine, to cover my back again I should just point out it is an easy spot so I am not being too critical here, because even Monsoon makes reference to it on commentary this is just an excerpt "Whoa just about got over the top of him, that could have been disastrous."

Finally the confusion; Venture tries to push the narrative that someone didn't cover the legal man [yes usually I would take an excerpt of this between Venture and Monsoon,] but and I know this is the Spoiler Alarm Version, but this seems like one of those rare occasions where it is unnecessary for me to give it away, you know usually there is something here for me to discuss of substance. The Referee Inside the ring Earl Hebner; everything goes according to plan. [A quick mention; the Referee on the outside of the ring is Joey Marella] and I know Venture is a Heel or in that mould so he is doing what he is meant to do here. I have replayed this myself a small amount of times just in case Venture has/had a genuine point and now I am ready to pass my verdict; I can now reveal Hebner is innocent; his decision stands. But briefly in fairness and balance after Monsoon handed things over to him to talk us through the replay of the closing stages of this match, he is professional. They move on to the next match with a image or images on-screen and they talk about who is involved

Basic Result: Co-Captains; Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake & the Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior, The Blue Blazer, Sam Huston & Jumping Jim Brunzell pick up the W.

DC's Batwoman [Season 3,] Episode 39: Mad as a Hatter by AverageMansReviews

DC's Batwoman [Season 3,] Episode 39: Mad as a Hatter by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/other effects/drugs/medical/strangulation/cutting/stabbing

Liam Crandle/Mad Hatter is/was a complete waste of time: Trailer; you may want to read this first; Average Extra of: DC's Batwoman 2019 Season 3 Trailer Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2021/10/average-extra-of-dcs-batwoman-2019.html to make better sense of what I am saying here, Storyline and Character [Character developments;] these three components in one way or another combined as you will see/read. Now it is a very good thing I don't put out and out adult language in my content, yes I do put softer versions of what I mean but no adult out and out bad language.

So here and now this is just a shower of manure; to begin with why oh why did you/they put so much time into advertising Crandle/Mad Hatter in the Season 3 Trailer when on some research he is just in one episode and that is it/this is it right here I know I had my reservations about him in the Trailer blog, but this is just ridiculous IReally didn't see this coming as this link would suggest/back me up, it just makes the show runners look stupid and like I have already said in the connecting blog [this is just an excerpt from the blog] "The thing is I would deem this trailer for this new Season to be a gigantic failure. Because there is nothing minus Beth Kane/Alice situation and presents in this trailer that says to either new viewers or even returning viewers "I must either catch up on this so I know what is happening so I can watch this new season." Or "I must put this on series link so I can watch it.""

This episode receives: 3/10, this episode is poor; I mean don't get me wrong there are some good things like everything around Arkham Asylum and to see Beth Kane/Alice get the last laugh for once actually it is because of her getting the last laugh this episode received another mark and there is only one other good thing about this episode, but I will not discuss it but I was just pointing out I am aware of it. I was thinking because I was running out of things; basically 3 to 5 things about one episode I would balance it up in this section, so on one hand I didn't break the rule, but I acknowledge there are some good things in this episode, but having said that there is this massive counterbalance of piles of manure, but don't worry I have this feeling we will have plenty of time to cover most of this in some capacity in this Third Season or maybe a more apt name should be Turd Season. Yes I am aware that this is just one episode, but mixed in with the trailer [It has just come to me; in hindsight what they have just done with this trailer is on the whole minus other bits and pieces to do with the Season; they have just advertised this first episode and not this Third and Final Season; this is just laziness] and this episode it will have to do something major to get me back on side and quick, but of what I've seen so far they are just going to make this whole experience as in when war whenever they want to just let everything hang out, because this is just the Final Season so why bother anyway.

The Italian Job 1969 by AverageMansReviews

The Italian Job 1969 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there are flashing effects/colourful effects

Storyline/Characters [Character developments]/Performances: these three components combined at some point or points in this project; the storyline is for most part solidly good. We need Charlie Croker/Caine as he gets released from Wentworth prison. Mrs Beckermann/Goldoni gives him this recording on this big reel of film where before playing it [in this scene should talks about this what happened,] but on playing this reel of film Roger Beckermann/Brazzi gives Charlie Croker/Caine this robbery job worth $4 million and hopefully he is more successful than what he was. The pacing itself is not the quickest but always progressive and it does gather momentum later on in the film [basically around the action which is later on in this film.] But however the ending, the ending man the ending of this film.

I mean if you have been with me long enough generally speaking I really, really don't like these massive question-mark endings used in a single films or I don't mind weird films, because depending on the film you can kind of say " that was a weird film so having a weird or sudden or something like this ending fits in with this weird film." So you can kind of get away with it, but this film cannot based on how things are left and roughly speaking for a 99 minute film I was looking for a better conclusion than this.

The Characters [Character developments] and Performances; they are all good; they are what you expect them to be for a highest movie.

Action/Art/Comedy: these three components go likewise combined at one point or another, but I will be discussing the getaway sequence; we have these three minis [one red - Charlie Croker/Caine is in the navigator seat, one blue and one white] driven by some of this heist crew [whilst some other members are getting away disguised as England football fans in a Volkswagen van or I think it is a vehicle of something similar, but I digress; which has been decorated to reflect that they are football fans.]

The viewers have this beautifully chaotic action and art sequence; where we have these three minis being chased by Italian Police; in no particular order and this is just a rough selection they go downstairs in a building, they go through this heavenly populated like mall location, through this underpass which has people going through or a person busking playing the violin and other locations either are going up or down or through there is lots of variety here including this wedding has just taken place and this happy occasion heading down these many steps with suddenly this chaotic chasing sequence interrupting things with Charlie Croker/Caine shouting out "Good luck!" To these newlyweds and this chasing sequence continuing and later on in this sequence we get this soundtrack of "Getta Bloomin' Move On! [The Self Preservation Society] by Quincy Jones which is the cherry on top of this sequence of events.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; I mean I was going to give it a higher mark, but because of the ending I had to change it, so if you haven't seen this film especially if you are into heist films take a look at it. This film has/had been Nominated for an Award; Golden Globes, USA 1970; Golden Globe; Best English-Language Foreign Film UK.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 3,] Episode 113: A Friend in Need: Part I by AverageMansReviews

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 3,] Episode 113: A Friend in Need: Part I by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/colourful/other effects/environment/transformation

Alpha 5's Home Planet of Edenoi needs help: Storyline, Action, Art and Character [Character developments] Action and Art; these all combined in one way or another. We get to find out more about Alpha 5 and his creator King Lexian. The Power Rangers [minors Kimberly/The Pink Power Ranger due to illness] willingly go to investigate what is happening on Edenoi. Edenoi the Art on landing on this planet is desolate and instantaneously sets the tone that this planet is taking an absolute hammering from Count Dregon's battleship [full disclosure I have had a quick look around and I can't find its real name;] it is very powerful it has at ease power to disrupt this planet surface.

But after this The Power Rangers come across these Edenois including one immature Prince Dex and a small number of Edenois refusing to listen to our Power Rangers that they are here to help, they are friends of Alpha 5.

It is a very good thing that Prince Dex doesn't have any real powers to call upon, because if he did he would be dangerous. Oh wait he does have some real powers to call upon as he is The Masked Rider.

This episode receives: 6/10, this episode is good; as you can see/read there are some good things about this episode, but I'm not a fan of Prince Dex/Masked Rider and no if you are young enough and you are thinking " Well he is just in this TV program for a short time." Yes this may be true but however he does have his own TV program after this crossover of episodes; Masked Rider 1 Season 40 Episodes and cover my back for here and now I don't know if I could put myself through this TV program; I mean in short Count Dregon cool and as I have already made reference to Prince Dex/Masked Rider so not cool and one final thing yes many upon many so many moons ago I remember watching it.

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW Full Gear 2021 by AverageMansReviews

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW Full Gear 2021 by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up: these matches may be in the wrong order and I would just like to send my best wishes to Jon Moxley/Jonathan David Good and his family on going into and receiving help for his substance abuse issue; you have got this Good and hopefully see you soon back in a AEW ring.

Buy-in: Nyla Rose [with Vickie Guerrero] & Jamie Hayter vs. Hikaru Shida & Thunder Rosa; Tag Team Match: my pick is Nyla Rose [with Vickie Guerrero] & Jamie Hayter. Serena Deeb will get involved to cost Shida and Rosa the W. as these three all have a history this would be a potential Trios/Triple Threat Match that everyone wants to see you at some point down the line this would also protect this potential losing team here from the loss I should just point out this is not the only time I will be saying something to that effect about protecting from the loss.

Christian Cage, Jurassic Express [Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus] vs. Superkliq [Adam Cole, The Young Bucks [Matt & Nick Jackson;] Falls Count Anywhere Match: my pick is Christian Cage, Jurassic Express [Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus.] Now I know The Super Elite or Superkliq hasn't been around long in AEW but it like the backstage/creative force; they may be pulling the trigger on some things on this pay-per-view or initiating the slow process, so I expect by the usage of this stipulation for this match for Brandon Cutler and Michael Nakazawa for their faction/stable The Elite or The Super Elite or Superkliq and likewise for Marco Stunt for his friend and faction/stable Christian Cage, Jurassic Express [Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus] to get involved so the Babyfaces go over here, but the Heels will be protected by the usage of this stipulation as well [I will bring this up again later on.]

Pac & Cody Rhodes [with Arn Anderson & Brandy Rhodes] vs. Malakai Black & Andrade El Idolo; Tag Team: my pick is Malakai Black & Andrade. Basically I have Black has talked about potentially someone stabbing Cody in the back which leads to probably Arn and  Brock Anderson [real life father and son;] because they have been involved in one way or another in this Cody and Black feud and not forgetting Arn had that outburst promo a little while back, so they may go and a line themselves with Black, because Black is hungry and a killing machine and Arn wants Brock to be moulded into a true Anderson with a killer instinct as well; not someone soft like Cody, so it at some point you see Brock rushing down to the ring, they are probably going to do this whole swerve thing where you think Brock is going to hit Black with I'm going to guess a chair, but from out of nowhere he hits Cody. What leads me to think this is not only this Black promo, but is it me or have we not seen Brock for some time [ just to cover my back I could be completely wrong about this,] but they could go in with the narrative of Brock is back after being out injured [kayfabe] by the hands of Black, so he had plenty of time to think about things and he didn't like his father being easily put in harm’s way, he knows his father still has plenty of fight in him so he won't back down from anyone, but if Cody was concentrating on wrestling instead of being a TV personality and famous, he would have been aware of how ruthless Black really was/is. So he can't blame Black for who and what he is, but he can blame Cody for abandoning his father and The Nightmare Family.

CM Punk vs. Eddie Kingston; Singles Match: my pick is CM Punk. Now hopefully between them they come up with a match outlay which elevates Kingston or at minimum make Kingston look better for having this match. I mean individually or together everyone knows that these two opponents can throw down with the best of them, so hopefully like I said Kingston looks better after having this match.

Darby Allin [with Sting] vs. MJF [with Wardlow;] Singles Match: my pick is MJF. On one hand this is a feud begin, so I expect some Heel tactics to happen to build this feud more, because of these underhanded tactics it will protect Allin from the loss here. But on the other hand this is a long-term prediction after on the conclusion/ending of this feud I can see Wardlow turning on MJF and The Pinnacle, because Wardlow has already questioned MJF about throwing him in front of Sting or something like this; so MJF gave him Accountability Buddy in The Pinnacle member Shawn Spears, so this Wardlow turn has hopefully slowly begun here, so hopefully may be AEW: Double or Nothing 2022 as this is the gambling themed pay-per-view; it will be Wardlow vs. MJF: If Wardlow wins he gets released from his contract with MJF, he is also free to leave The Pinnacle; all other Pinnacle members banned from ringside and if Wardlow should lose, not only is he come from The Pinnacle, but he is gone from AEW. Now if they do that annual wrestling rumble match for that ring which MJF wears on his little finger and has retained it last year, but somehow loses it due to Wardlow then this would be a good indication of this is where we are heading. [I should just point out before moving on this is 99.5% speculation mixed in with 0.5% of TV programming content at this time.]

The AAA World Tag Team Championships FTR [Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood, with Tully Blanchard] vs. the AEW World Tag Team Champions Lucha Brothers [Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fénix with Alex Abrahantes;] Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Champions: my pick is Lucha Brothers [Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fénix. Yes indeed the next time these AEW World Tag Team Championships are on the line they are heading around the waist of FTR. But for here and now it just feels a little bit soon to have new Champions at this point; when this was first being dictated their reign is currently standing at 65 days, so keeping that in mind I would greatly prefer them to retain here and go with the narrative of close match here, but maybe next time in the near future not so lucky and have them drop their Championship's then and to give them at least hopefully 90 to 100 days as AEW World Tag Team Champions.

The Inner Circle [Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, the AEW TNT Champion Sammy Guevara, Pride & Powerful: Santana & Ortiz] vs. Men of the Year [Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky,] American Top Team [Junior dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski & Dan Lambert;] Minneapolis Street Fight: my pick is Men of the Year [Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky,] American Top Team [Junior dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski & Dan Lambert. This is just feels like another stipulation where everyone is protected by the outcome, but if they want this feud to have concrete substance it would be much more beneficial if my pick went over here.

Bryan Danielson vs. Miro; AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament Final Winner receives a future AEW World Championship Match: my pick is Bryan Danielson. Miro will be protected from the loss here as well, because he will be distracted from a debut, if anyone has been watching his promos/video packages he has been basically calling out to his God ever since losing his AEW TNT Championship and this individual has been ignoring Miro and till now or more specifically this pay-per-view.

Tay Conti [with Anna Jay] vs. the AEW Women's World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. with Rebel and Jamie Hayter; Singles Match for the AEW Women's World Championship: my pick is Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. hopefully they come up with a similar match outlay to Punk vs. Kingston where Conti looks better for having this match.

"Hangman" Adam Page vs. the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega [with Don Callis;] Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: my pick is "Hangman" Adam Page. Well straight off the bat they need to drop this Championship to Page, because they can't keep rebuilding him and having him fail at the final hurdle and this is where I said I would talk about this later, meaning now if they have The Super Elite or Superkliq have a sticky ending to 2021, they can always come back in 2022 looking furious and hungry for fights and consequently Championships.

This pay-per-view looks stacked from top to bottom of highly entertaining matches, I know I have used the word or words protect from the loss. Hopefully if they do this or something like this it will either continue things nicely or shake things up here and now or potentially down the line at some point.

Watchmen [Season 1,] Episode 1: It's Summer and We're Running Out of Ice by AverageMansReviews

Watchmen [Season 1,] Episode 1: It's Summer and We're Running Out of Ice by AverageMansReviews

Season warning and just a heads up: now because I have been a content creator for many years in some capacity from 25 to 38 [when this review was first being dictated] I have learnt to cover my back, whenever possible especially even more so in this current and future climate so in this case this live action TV program is based heavily on white supremacy and white on black violence and those kind of things; yes I have seen just one episode, but I am very much aware of this TV program's reputation and basic content of white on black violence, so you have been warned.

These reviews for this TV show will work under the rules of between 3 to 5 things about this episode.

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there are flashing effects/other effects/white supremacy/black-and-white violence/burning/animal cruelty/drugs/suicide/torture/hanging

The Seventh Kavalry are back: Storyline, Characters [Character developments,] Action and Art these all of these components combined in one way or another; on some research I would recommend watching Watchman 2009 film title first. Yes I haven't but I have seen this film before granted it was many years ago and whilst looking up and watching other people's content in a shell I get it or just to cover back I now have a better understanding. This is a white supremacist organisation that has been away for three years, to keep this uncomplicated and they have essentially taken somebody's words [when you look at their head/face covering you will know which character I am referring to and full disclosure I couldn't remember the name of this individual and yes his name does get mentioned earlier on in this episode I picked up on it whilst watching this episode the second time around.] But let's just say this individual has/had the reputation of being mentally unstable at the best of times.

The Pod; we have Detective Tillman/Looking Glass interrogating this suspect which has ties to the Seventh Kavalry in this highly sophisticated Pod; everything in this location is perfectly and purposefully designed to disorientate the suspect in question including but not forgetting Looking Glass/Tillman asking questions on top of questions with rapid speed with repeating them at any time as well; so he is like a boxer in complete control of his boxing bout, but his opponent refuses to go down so he has to work his jab and punches in different combinations to either get Intel or to tell him something, but I think Detective Tillman/Looking Glass wins this bout by a points decision.

By the usage of this Pod with images and these rabid questions; this style of interrogation; it is probably based on this bright light, rapidly moving images and rabid questions which should trigger a very tiny natural response before their learnt acceptable social behaviour kicks in; so this is speculation with an educated guess with all this going on it doesn't give the suspect in question that time to hide their smallest part of their true self or at the very least it makes this learned, but also natural [natural from the perspective of we learn to hide things like impulses or emotions and other things as we get older.] But I digress as it relates to this situation this suspect has a very tiny amounts of time less than usual to disguise; in a nutshell by overloading the brain with too many incoming things or any hostile situation, we can still function, our all-round performance will suffer or if pushed enough or under enough pressure we may forget something or give something away.

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode is excellent; yes I have seen this episode twice, it took me some time to adjust to this; I knew I was going to give it a positive mark but I just was to be honest blown away by its content and yes as I have already referenced I knew of its reputation, but it still coming off guard. Because unlike the DC's Batwoman Season 2 2020 where it uses a similar but important issues in the same ballpark of white-on-black violence and in comparison where DC's Batwoman Season 2, 2020 comes off as whiny children throwing their toys out of the pram; this on the other hand clearly has its adult person pants on as knows what it wants to cover and in-depth as well, so consequently it has no problems from me.
