South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut 1999 by AverageMansReviews

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut 1999 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film is a classic.

Musical numbers: these elements are a consistent theme throughout; they feel like a part of the film and not a separate entity from the rest of the film.

Comedy level: heavily mature based and highly comical [the reason why I cannot discuss this film at any great length,] I prefer to keep my blog clean as it relates to the language being used in it, but I can say this; the comedy level doesn't leave its audiences alone for a second.

Animation: well all they have done here is uses their animation from their highly successful TV program in this film [yes they may have slightly adapted their animation over the more recent times.] But in fairness back in the day of 1999, why change something that clearly works for this TV program.

This film receives: 100% approval, it does everything that it says in the title "Bigger, Longer & Uncut."

Suicide Squad 2016 by AverageMansReviews

Suicide Squad 2016 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: well all you need to know about this film would be this; Deadshot, Harley Quinn, The Joker and that would be it.

Background music/Profiles: these elements are annoying, the background music is borderline continuous, it is loud, off-putting and incredibly distracting. The profiles elements come across as cheap and really tacky [let's just say I'm not a fan of how these profiles have been laid out on screen, I find the profiles are actually very difficult to take seriously [now if they had used something like a computer to show off these profiles whilst we had two characters talking about these criminals in the background at the same time they could have had the information being shown on screen,] I would consider that to be something I could have taken seriously.

Special effects/Action sequences: the special effects are too much and absolutely nothing special, the same can be said for the action-packed sequences, they are nothing special in fact they are long winded, uninspiring and very stiff, nothing exactly feels free-flowing.

Character developments: now if your name isn't Deadshot or Harley Quinn or The Joker, you will not be getting much air-time in this film title. Now in the interest of fairness, everyone in the squad gets a little air-time [now I have been fair I can continue making my point,] every character in this project not just speaking of the squad now, every single character gets pushed back, whilst Deadshot and Harley Quinn [get pushed to the front,] not forgetting consistent influences or input from The Joker, I mean even the main evildoer has been given a consistent role in this project and that is about it.

Deadshot, Harley Quinn and The Joker: these three characters are in my opinion the only reason that someone should watch this project, you see not only from an individual perspective have these characters been given in-depth personalities, firstly we have Deadshot with leadership qualities to lead this squad with a good back story and sometimes using his dialogue exchanges to be serious or funny with a mature tone.

Harley Quinn and The Joker, have been given time and space throughout this film title to express their mentally unstable personalities/mental processes which can change within a seconds notice. On a side note this project also consistently takes a look at the chemistry/relationship between these two iconic characters how beautifully intense it can be or on the other hand completely insane with no boundaries to their levels of love or destructive chaos.

This film receives: 30% approval, generally speaking I actually found this film very difficult to watch, because of some of the reasons I have put in this review, they should have come out with something a little bit more on the scale of groundbreaking, instead of this visual or hearing [background music] messy project.

Dredd 2012 by AverageMansReviews

Dredd 2012 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film is a must-see film, because this film represents the true idea of what and how Judge Dreed should be dealt with as it relates to his characteristics and many other elements.

Scene consistencies/Atmosphere controls: these two combining elements work amazingly well off one another, as these two elements are a constant reminder that this broken down society is struggling to keep its dignity, it's moral compass and laying just on top of these elements is this really dark sinister edge as if to illustrate anyone would stab their next-door neighbour in the back for the right price.

Action sequences/Artistic visions: once again these elements work as a cohesive unit in this project, yes absolutely these action sequences look incredibly messy [but as I may have illustrated already in this review, whatever goes on in this film has to look messy or depressing or dirty,] so what is the best way for me to describe the action sequences; I know, organized chaos would be a good way of putting it.

Performances; the cast gave out justice in the name of Judge Dredd, to a Dredd like standard clinical, hard-hitting and justice served

This film receives: 100% approval; based on the fact everyone did everything they could to make this project, as I have already said a true representation of Judge Dreed.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 1] Episode 4: Diamond Ray of Disappearance by AverageMansReviews

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 1] Episode 4: Diamond Ray of Disappearance by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: finally I have an episode from this TV series I can actually get really into [but still not telling you too much.]

Characters: now there are so many different characters being used in this episode that it makes things really interesting, just for an example everyone gets a little bit of time on screen.

Action sequences: because of my first point [characters,] these action-packed sequences yes maybe brief but they all have a purpose on screen to be highly enjoyable and most definitely impactful.

Artistic visions: wonderful as they are keeping up with the action-packed sequences and many other aspects

Ending message: in a nutshell, try not to or do not take any shortcuts in life.

This episode receives: 90% approval, it is a very quick episode that knows what it wants to do and it has so many different elements to use as well

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 1] Episode 3: Disappearing Act by AverageMansReviews

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 1] Episode 3: Disappearing Act by AverageMansReviews

I have just finished watching this episode and here it is in a nutshell.

Review Time: now there is one character from this franchise that has always irritated me and he goes by the name of Orko and as he has a relatively large part in this episode, I didn't really enjoy this episode too much.

Skeletor: makes a big impact in anything he does throughout this episode it could be his dialogue exchanges, stage presence [on screen] or many other bits and pieces.

Ending message: in a nutshell developed your brain or at the very least use your brain.

This episode receives: 40%, approval how can I say this without majorly giving too much away or repeating myself, this is one of those episodes that if you were a child in the 1980s or very late 1970s this episode will remind you of why Skeletor is a legendary evildoer.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 1] Episode 2: The Shaping Staff by AverageMansReviews

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 1] Episode 2: The Shaping Staff by AverageMansReviews

I am hoping that everyone had a good weekend and now ready for another exciting episode review.

Review Time: well I apologize for getting your hopes up, but this episode is mainly average, especially at the beginning stages it just feels really slow in everything it does.

Action sequences: He-Man vs.  Faker [He-Man] is really good fun as for the majority of this short battle sequence it is a fair contest.

Artistic visions: good and well presented throughout this episode.

Ending message: in a nutshell don't talk to strangers or go anywhere with strangers.

This episode receives: 56% approval, this episode is okay once it gets going but it is just a case of waiting for this episode to get going in the first place

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 1] Episode 1: The Cosmic Comet by AverageMansReviews

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 1] Episode 1: The Cosmic Comet by AverageMansReviews

Now I will not be discussing these episodes for too long simply based on the fact these episodes are only roughly 20 minutes long and I strongly dislike it when someone gives everything away, be it a film or anything like that and whilst I am on the subject, the reason why these episodes reviews have many different sections within my blog, well simply put if I have to find this episode for any reason it will make things easier for me.

Review Time: this episode is a good beginning and that is about it really, it shows its audiences its basic formula and introduces some of the good characters and some of the evildoers.

Artistic visions: great visions of these two iconic locations [Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain,] you will see these iconic locations frequently throughout this TV series.

Action sequences: entertaining and there is always something happening in them:

Ending message: now this TV show uses messages at the end of their episodes, in this case it was something to the effect of believe in yourself [I just put the ending messages in a nutshell version.]

This episode receives: 60% approval as I have already said, this episode is a good beginning but I know this TV series has much better episodes to come.
