Warning:
there is flashing effects/colourful
effects/immigration/stabbing/shooting/medical/references to race and immigrants
We meet: Jack Abramoff [Kevin Spacey:] he is a Republican
lobbyist, businessman and film producer; this film covers what he and
colleagues did to these Native American tribes
Generally speaking: the storyline/script is there to be honest it does feel
like not a lot is actually happening, the framework and character development
with storyteller Abramoff/Spacey via predominantly voice-over from is well the
storyline/script starts closely to the end of this movie then we go full-circle
and then a little bit more, don't get me wrong towards the closing stages of
this 108 minutes film it dares to show some signs of life, but for now as you
read you can thank any religious text you like that this film has Kevin Spacey
at the helm in a cast sense
Character
development, comedy and performances; the character developments are reliable
versions of what they were going here, Abramoff/Spacey going absolutely mental
down the telephone at another character making references to adult language
references and fat, eventually the central characters possibly on a tour in
this location overhear including the person giving the tour are all trying to
keep everything going but with the volume of voice it is somewhat difficult.
The performances of predominately of the cast are a good; but then I cannot
stress this enough as I may have already; but Spacey really does grab this
film, puts it on his back and makes it more on every single level.
This film receives: 4/10, this film is mixed; basically you may as well
call this film; Spacey as I have just
indicated yes all the other character developments and performances are solid
as in what they were going for here, but without Kevin Spacey this film would
be absolutely well and truly nothing and yes this is why relatively speaking
this project has avoided the lower depths of poor section of my marking system,
and like it or not this reminds us that Spacey was a highly talented performer,
this film also has some awards accredited to its name such as 1 Winner St.
Louis International Film Festival 2010 Audience Choice Award Best Feature
George Hickenlooper and 2 Nominations which include but not limited to Golden
Globes, USA 2011 Golden Globe Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture
- Comedy or Musical Kevin Spacey
