I haven't seen this film roughly since 1989 I think anyway: briefly; we meet a young girl would Alice [Voice by: Kathryn Beaumont:] she is a naive little girl that goes on this mystical adventure.

Generally speaking: the storyline/script and the character developments are by and large all good, other than I don't remember her meaning Alice being this naive or/and irritating on individual counts or both counts and then on top of that the ending style to this project without giving too much away, but enough to make my point; which is simply this; the ending style makes this entire project completely pointless as she doesn't actually learn from this experience or she could always go with but that was just such and such so consequently I don't have to learn anything, the framework and pacing of this 75 minutes film is all good all so; as it uses the outlay of storyline then [art] musical number and then back again or vice versa which my favourite song is Painting The Roses Red sung by: The Mellowmen Quartet and Kathryn Beaumont: the basic premise is; these playing cards have to paint the is white roses red and they are in fear of their lives if they don't do this job properly so Alice tries to help them in this task.

Art, comedy and action; this strong as asset to this project by clear miles is the artistic visions and/or bring this world to life as it is pure lunacy, we have a door handle/lock having a face on it and the ability to talk, likewise a white rabbit, a caterpillar and many others that have the ability to talk; the imagination is immaculate as we have Alice getting stuck in this house because she is too big or for a moment of the comedy we have a character asking for a half cup of tea and instead of the usual way of filling up the cup half way; they decide to turn this concept on its head and go with filling up the cup and then this character slicing this full drink down the middle so that we can see one half of this cup from the inside; so it gives him his half of a drink of tea and much later on Alice has this game of croquet involving a Queen, some flamingos, playing cards as hoops and I am going to go with something hedgehogs for balls; but remember when Alice entries wonderland there is always something to see and experience.

Character developments and voice performances; I have to say as I referenced earlier the character developments minus Alice are rich in lunacy in their own way or another and the voice performances now including Alice are actually outstanding; okay Alice may be somewhat annoying, but performance wise as this was clearly what they were going for back in the 1950s she meaning Beaumont the rest do a fantastic job bringing Alice and these by the vast majority eccentric characters to life.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; after everything I have said about this project, this marking is the right outcome, if the ending wasn't the ending is I would have given this project another mark, but as things are this one looks right, I mean if you haven't seen it yet in your lifetime, what are you waiting for? This is that when Walt Disney or better known as just Disney nowadays literally pumped out golden content and yes this movie has some awards accredited to its name such as 2 Winners to its name which includes but not limited to Photoplay Awards 1951 Photoplay Award Best Pictures of the Month (September) and 2 Nominees which also include but not limited to Academy Awards, USA Oscar 1952  Oscar Best Music, Scoring of a Musical Picture Oliver Wallace
