Today's weather... Well it could be a of the few showers with Sharknados: briefly; we meet Fin Shepard [Ian Ziering:] he is an ex-professional surfer that owns this bar that needs to go and assist his family to get somewhere better before this weather gets any worse, but he like many others will find out this weather has sharp teeth, George [John Heard:] is probably the best customer Shepard has; as he likes his drink a lot and spends most of his time there; on his bar stool.

Generally speaking: the storyline/script is well grounded and structured to very much being a foundation/beginning of a franchise, likewise the framework is good, the pacing of this 85 minutes film, well I would say compared to the rest of the film the opening section is a bit slow, but when you get past this; I would say it was a solid move.

Art, action and comedy; yes absolutely you can see and feel that this film was made on a limited budget special effects and so on and so forth; let's just say everyone was making the best with what they had to use to bring this film to live so from that perspective let's give them some credit shall we, but these components were/are and elements coincide one another such as you can see the sharks feeding on their target; Shepard has this chainsaw in his hands switched on and he also has this shark flying towards him, so we just have a case of Shepard slicing this shark into two parts right down the middle, there is a sprinkling of comedy broadly speaking on how quickly these smaller situations/other arcane to make a bigger all-round situation worse

Character developments and performances; look I'm not going to string you along sentence or/and paragraph; when I can just say this on both counts; they are both fit for purpose and/or solid for what they were going for here as in solidly functional.

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; I would suggest not taking this film and indeed franchise not too seriously, but having said that... this film/franchise has a good concept and execution behind it; hence why I have rated it quite highly and back in the day of 2013, it garnished a lot of fans and a cult following; this film also has some awards accredited to its name such as 1 Winner Young Hollywood Awards Young Hollywood Award Best Internet Sensation and 2 Nominees which include but not limited to People's Choice Awards, USA 2014 People's Choice Award Favorite TV Movie/Miniseries
