Review Time

Warning: there will be flashing effects/colourful effects/breaking/shooting: this is one of those rare occasions where I should give you a little bit more background on this film especially those like myself of a dyslexic nature or/and harder of reading whatever reason behind that is; that if I had to estimate 88% of this project is subtitled and to be honest and facial these subtitled are of white text and yes they will clash with anything underneath them consistently throughout this movie, so it is very much a case of I kind of got the gist of this movie, but that was about it really so at minimum or hopefully I will be at worse in the right ballpark just in case I get anything wrong in this content.

I need a new fighter: briefly; we meet Donaka Mark [one of the Producers & the Director of this movie: Keanu Reeves:] as he has recently dispatched of his champion for not doing as he is told; you see Mark is the owner and runner of this underground fighting/online viewing empire, so whilst watching this Martial Arts tournament through his spotters and also content creators; they come across this highly demanded individual; his name is Tiger Chen Linhu [Tiger Chen:] his style is Tai Chi; but even his sensei saw broadly speaking much anger in him and he is also a delivery driver as well.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing 105 minutes film is I would say okay; based on what I have already made one clear in this content already.

Action, art and character developments; well if you have been around long enough; you would know that foreign Martial Arts film projects are simultaneously hard-hitting, quick-paced but also shot from time to time throughout the movie in question; to have an element of beauty to them; the recurring component of this point would be when Chen goes to spend training with his sensei as it also incorporates martial arts has a emotional component as well as the physical which is on its own merit very smooth and very natural as to also incorporates martial arts is also an extension of the individual in question as well.

Character developments and performances; away from what I have just been discussing; of what I can understand broadly speaking is they were/are on both counts good solid versions of what they were meant to be.

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; on reflection I decided to go with this mark, because anything less would most definitely be too harsh, but also I have to take into consideration my viewing experience based on how things are, so on the side of things this mark also seems a reasonable outcome and there is an ongoing sequence underneath the closing credits.
