I told you to leave us alone: basically; Jason Bourne/other names [Matt Damon:] has come
out of hiding, after the Treadstone program framed him for something he didn't
do. Pamela Landy [Joan Allen:] she is the Deputy Director of the CIA that
broadly speaking is interested in this entire situation with Bourne, the
Treadstone program and this current situation
Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 108 minutes film is
lively as it really has an identity to it
Action
and art; in the beginning stages or somewhere around here; we have this
underwater sequence of events; this is artistically excellently structured to
put across what it puts across and for the other actions they are manic but
also we do get something subtle Bourne/Damon likes to spy on people using his
sight on his gun and telephone them to have a conversation, so it isn't all
fast paced action, more action and more action.
Character
developments and performances; we get to see and experience the growth of
Bourne/Damon as without giving too much away; things have just got personal and
remember all they had to do was leave him alone; so obviously we get more of a
in-depth version of Bourne, I am not disrespecting the previous version not in
the slightest. But all I am saying is quite clearly; evolution of this character
is what we get in this sequel as Damon is allowed to implement more of what his
action persona is going to be not only in this sequel but in other instalments
of this franchise as well; surrounded by a very solid cast of characters and
performers, that understand Bourne is a possibly massive threat, that in a
nutshell they don't know what he is doing and if he makes mistakes, simply put;
he doesn't make mistakes, so he clearly wants to be where he is but why?
This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; it just keeps things
progressing at a good pace as it relates to this film franchise. This film also
has some awards accredited to its name such as 5 Winners that includes but not
limited to Empire Awards, UK 2005 Empire Award Best Film and Best Actor Matt
Damon. 22 Nominees that also includes but not limited to from the same award
ceremony/event Best British Director Paul Greengrass and Scene of the Year The
Moscow car chase sequence.
