Real Talking Time:

Warning: there will be some censored adult language references and also reference a sex offender as well

Oh fudge off!: So from April 2026 the TV licence is going to £180 a year, which is an increase of roughly £5.50. When will the BBC understands that it is no longer fit for purpose and on top of that why do the British public have to pay for it? When you're paying your roster of names hundreds of thousands of pounds per year, for an example with full disclosure being 2024-2025 years Gary Lineker £1.35 million [I am fully aware he no longer works for the BBC but the figure still matters in this context] followed by Zoe Ball with £515,000 per year and all the names after Ball receiving a similar figure with Justin Webb receiving the least of £365,000 per year [so essentially thousand pounds a day.]

It really doesn't matter how many times the BBC's puts out those thank you messages, at the end of the day how about targeting those your pay roster and taking a minimum of £25,000 per year of them, I mean we all have to move with the times and the economical climate so I don't see why the BBC shouldn't be cutting their annual salaries as well, for an example if we are paying for the BBC no one should be earning over I would say £250,000 per year and if they don't like it they can go and work for some other channel or subscription service.

Basically the BBC try to keep this notion going; "We are the BBC, funded by the people for the people." So if this is remotely true? Isn't it about time you reflected the state of the UK in these more modern times, meaning it is a struggle to make ends meet, so we will give the British public a break and put down the TV licence, but of course the BBC have got to look after their sex offenders such as Huw Edwards which as far as I'm aware is still getting his nice pension, so in short this pay increase is very much tone deaf to the real lives of the British public, but then again not only do we have to pay for Edwards we might also have to pay for President Donald Trump's lawsuit against the BBC at some point in the future: Thanks BBC.
