A first date and that really
doesn't go according to plan:
briefly; Violet Gates [Meghann Fahy:] she is a widow of a real dramatic history,
turned online therapist and parent, that goes on this first date, but also
receives is strange instructions that she needs to follow, because if she
doesn't her son will pay the price.
Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 95 minutes film is
god-awful, I swear I was pretty much done in this film after if you're lucky 33
minutes, I was completely and utterly disinterested in this title, but I had to
struggle through the rest of it so I could do this content
Art
and action; I mean it very much tries to be articulate and of a high standing
when it tries to pull off this all blackout thing around our lead character
or/and this slow motion effects garbage; well how can I put this nicely it
bluntly; you can dress up a donkey manure as much as you like, at the end of
the day it is still going to be donkey manure. I mean really don't get me wrong
if it was a thought-provoking film or anything highbrow or trying to be genuine
highbrow, I would genuinely cut this film some slack, but as it is I'm not that
stupid. That action sequences of what we have on are nothing special or
remotely solid, all I can say is if you're wondering if someone drops out of
this location I can reassure you that yes this will happen.
Character
developments and performances; on both counts they are incredibly dull, tedious
and disjointed. Because our lead character has been instructed not to say
anything to anyone, it deliberately and willingly takes you up the path of
consequently being disjointed and yes there is a moment where they; meaning the
date actually talk of real substance, because of everything else as it relates
to this film it counterbalances this dialogue exchange of real substance, so
all I can say is as it relates to the character developments or/and the
performances is if this is what you're going for?... Well done you struck gold,
but for me... Wake me up when this film is done.
This film receives: 1/10, this film is poor; as you may have guessed by now
I just found this to be insufferable and I wasn't the only one as the person
that I watch some of this content with agreed with my sentiment of basically
this is awful, I mean we were even checking now and again to see how long we
had left of this film to watch, I mean that is how bad this film is.
