Dirty Harry is on the case: briefly; Inspector Harry Callahan/Dirty Harry [Clint Eastwood:] he is a no-nonsense individual that works for the San Francisco Police Department, the wants to take down Scorpio/another name [Andy Robinson:] he is a serial murderer for ransom and by the way they call him Dirty Harry, because whenever there is a dirty job they send in Harry to clean it up.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 102 minutes film is good; but from time to time it is a bit slow.

Art, action and comedy; this is a very clean and tidy and well presented film, as you can imagine there are plenty of firearms being used including but not limited to a 44 Magnum revolver, with Inspector Callahan using his favourite quote "Uh uh. I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?" [Context meaning in a nutshell: you can go for your gun and try your luck and see if he has any bullets left or leave your hand off your firearm and potentially live for another day.]

Character developments, performances and comedy; by and large the character developments and the performances are all good, they are reliably good versions of what they are meant to be. But let's be completely honest here everyone that has been around films long enough  know this to be true; Inspector Callahan/Eastwood is completely with 100% certainty the entire reason that this film and franchise starts off on the right foot at minimum; Inspector Callahan is Eastwood, Eastwood is Inspector Callahan; Eastwood makes this role is very own, what with his cold exterior, what with him really disliking authority, there is only one thing he dislikes more and that would be criminals and even mocks someone trying to commit suicide; which is all perfectly sums up Inspector Callahan.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; it is a bit slow in places but it is still good to see Eastwood/Inspector Callahan doing his thing. This instalment does have some awards accredited to its name such as 2 Winners which include but not limited to Online Film & Television Association 2019 OFTA Film Hall of Fame Motion Picture and 4 Nominees Edgar Allan Poe Awards 1972 Edgar Best Motion Picture Harry Julian Fink Rita M. Fink Dean Riesner
