What a night: briefly; it is coming to the end of high school for these people, they just have a few months left; so we meet Seth [Younger: Casey Margolis/Older: Jonah Hill:] he has a habit of saying what he thinks, he has the best friend by the name of Evan [Michael Cera:] out of the two of them he is the reserved one, they both have interests in these two women that high school; Seth has interest in Julie [Emma Stone:] she invited them to her party and if they can get their hands on the alcohol for it, which Seth agrees so Julie gives him $100 to get the supplies, Evan's interest is Becca [Younger: Laura Marano/Older: Martha MacIsaac:] she tells Evan her favourite drink and I can't directly remember what it was; but I think it was vodka with little golden bits in it. Luckily Seth and Evan have a friend by the name of Fogell/McLovin [Christopher Mintz-Plasse:] that has a fake ID to get the supplies with, mostly in the night Fogell/ McLovin will have his own adventure and trying not to get caught up with Seth and Evan: even though Evan and Fogell/ McLovin have got to tell Seth something at some point.

Generally speaking: the script/storyline, the framework and pacing of this 113 minutes film is naturally escalating chaos with never known what is going to happen next at any stage of this film.

Comedy and action; now I have to be incredibly selective on what references I leave in this content, because they range from immature to mature to adult, so in one sequence we have Seth going through these scenarios in his head on how this situation could go down and we the viewers get to see these different scenarios and even for the early 2000s we get a excellent bit of equality as we get a reference to penises and vaginas: okay, okay at the wrong time of the month, but then again equality is equality and poor Seth at one point or another gets hit by a vehicle, away from this Fogell/McLovin gets to fire off this gun into this vehicle that is already on fire.

Character developments and performances; are all really lively and interesting, with 2000's take on the coming-of-age outlay and here are just some examples; from Evan doing the right thing when someone is being sick or Seth carrying Evans home, even though Seth has consumed a lot of drink himself and the beautifully natural crossroads at the end of the film where without giving too much away one friend goes one way and the other goes the other way, but they still will remain good friends and catch up later.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; as I have probably made this crystal clear at this point; this film is a lively affair with a minimum mature comedy style with real substance as well, I had the pleasure of watching the film at the cinema with the person I watch some others contend with and this individual also enjoyed it, this individual did find this project could be a little bit strange in a pleasant way, but as I said they seem to enjoy it anyway. I did feel a bit bad after watching this film, because without going on and on; it does show that high school people could work things out on their own, without raising this massive alarm and in 2025 and beyond if things don't change, broadly speaking we are robbing the future generations the key skills to develop and deal with things on their own or/and looking after a friend. This film also has some awards accredited to its name; 11 Winners Positive: that include but not limited to ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards 2008  ASCAP Award Top Box Office Films Lyle Workman and Young Hollywood Awards 2008 Young Hollywood Award Exciting New Face Emma Stone. Negative: Women Film Critics Circle Awards 2007 WFCC Award Most Offensive Male Character. 24 Nominees: with also include but not limited to Boston Society of Film Critics Awards 2007 BSFC Award Best Ensemble Cast Tied with the cast of I'm Not There (2007) and Golden Schmoes Awards 2007 Golden Schmoes Coolest Character of the Year 'McLovin'
