We didn't commit this particular
crime: briefly; this group of criminals
known as Bad Guys led by Mr. Wolf [voice by Sam Rockwell:] he is a always
thinking ahead individual that can be charming and also the planner of the
group, another member of the group is Ms. Tarantula [voice by Awkwafina:] she
is a very highly skilled computer hacker/technical support and she can be
sarcastic from time to time. Mr. Wolf thinks on his feet to get himself and his
group instead of going to prison, they get transferred to under the tutelage of
Professor Marmalade [voice by Richard Ayoade:] he is a wealthy philanthropist
and tries to put this group through rehabiltation.
Art,
comedy and action: the art is very clear to see as I know this for a fact and I
found one of this series of books which this franchise is based on [which on a
quick side note as of this content being first created there is 20 books in the
series;] but my point here being is that they took this novel art and basically
splashed it on the big screen; so it is a highly engaging and colourful, but
also of the graphic novel persuasion; where we have a lot of shadow techniques
for things to stand out and be highly imaginative and engaging. The comedy; as
good-natured;We have Mr. Wolf providing narration or/and breaking-the-fourth-wall and foremost part revolves around our group of criminals; such as
one of our characters having a problem with wind when they are nervous or
learning to share and one of the best action sequences in this film; comes when
this mystery assailant breaks into this prison, to break our group of criminals
out; as this individual shows off their skills and the fact that they are
highly dangerous; because of the graphic novel outlay; when this character puts
foot to posterior; it really does show how fluent martial arts can be with the
simultaneously using the art known as graphic novel; as they fluently
simultaneously created a fully faultless spectacle of an action sequence; where
everything is non-stop beautiful chaos.
Character
developments and voice performances; as you may have guessed by now these very much
follow a paint by numbers approach, but when this film decides to stay with
these characters broadly speaking their core character developments, but break
out of what their models are; basically meaning give them more of an individual
personality so that their voice performers can by the end of the movie in print
their voices and personality traits onto them which creates a symbiotic
relationship in a nutshell meaning these characters and their voice performers
are now one and the same
This film receives: 9/10, this film is excellent; after this instalment
checks off every tick box for what a beginning/foundation project should be, as
I have referenced in one way or another in this content; then this film begins
to stretch its legs especially around I would say confidently before the final
section of this film, so yes this title does have to go through its gears, so
after everything is said and done this project finds itself at this marking.
Yes throughout the ending credits there are some extra bits and pieces with an
extra scene of events. This film also has some awards accredited to its name
such as; 2 Winners; Annie Awards 2023 Annie
