Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/terrorism/drugs/bodily functions/vehicle hit/references to communism, Russia and suicide

Berlin, Germany: briefly; we meet a very intense individual by the name of Det. Louis Salinger [Clive Owen:] he is an Detective for Interpol, that has a rocky history, but for now would like very much to take down this bank: International Bank of Business and Credit [IBBC.] Agent Salinger has a working partner for this case Eleanor Whitman [Naomi Watts:] she is from the Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan that to begin with knows nothing of her partner's history: IBBC is being investigated for a lot of shady activities in one way or another.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 118 in this film to begin with is very quickly boring and tiresome as in a nutshell because will be discussing it later on in this content; to begin with we do spend so much time going from country to country and back again in some cases that relatively early on it does very much put this film on the back foot, but when it stops doing this or just to cover my back even stop or do it so much less then the film can settle down

Action, art and comedy; we mainly have one massive action sequence to discuss and one much more sequence. There is this gun battle around this location where bullets are flying, visually it is a very smooth, high octane sequence throughout and with a smidgen of comedy; where as you can imagine these participants are very hyper aware of their surroundings, so for an example if somebody's mobile should go off with this sound effect reference to Star Wars then it will get those in very close proximity their attention and this is precisely what happens, but at least this individual hiding or most definitely attempting to stay out of the line of fire apologises and then so much later on, there is this elegant action sequence which yet again is also cosmetically highly changing as it takes place eventually on these rooftops and that is my limit for what I can say about that.

Character developments and performances; they are all solidly good and the performances reflect solidly good performances as well I also hasten to add especially when this film as I have already referenced when this film stops this is essentially location to location to somewhere else and back to somewhere, it really does stop/delayed the collection process with these characters/performers so that is I found it to be a little bit boring and tiresome.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; this is one of those occasions where after everything is said and done, this project finds itself in this section of my marking system. In the first section of the ending credits there is some extra details and yes this film does have some awards to its name such as 1 Winner Leggio d'oro 2009 Leggio d'oro Best Female Performance Barbara De Bortoli For the dubbing of Naomi Watts and 1 Nominee World Soundtrack Awards 2009 World Soundtrack Award Best Original Soundtrack of the Year Rein hold Heil Tom Tykwer Johnny Klimek.
