What the fudgin' are you doing WWE?: I think I am safe in saying this has been a unanimous worst release ever and for the younger generations of wrestling fans, that think this is an exaggeration. There is more to wrestling than putting on outstanding matches and winning championships even though R-Truth has won championships throughout his career in different promotions. He took whatever the WWE gave him and just ran with it and try to make it work and have a laugh with it at the same time such as winning the WWE 24/7 Championship a record setting 54 times which as of this content will not be beaten, because the championship has been now retired as of 09/11/2022.

You see it wasn't just in front of the curtain he was a charismatic and comical individual it has been indicated that behind the curtain this release has been in my words deflating and this is what I meant by unanimous worst release ever, because he just kept the morale up which is sometimes more important than anything else especially in the world of wrestling; spending so much time away from their families or a wrestler or anyone going through a sticky patch or a rough time or anything else really, you need someone like Truth to spread their enthusiastic nature.

Truth took to social media: "Im sorry to inform you all. I just got released from WWE. I want to thank WWE for the ride, but MOSTLY I want to thank each and EVERYONE OF YOU who was along for the ride, Thank you for all the love, support, and appreciation you have given me over the years. Thank you [praying hands emoji"]

Now on a little bit of research and if this is remotely true I am absolutely furious, he was only getting paid $550,000 per year and obviously I don't mean to be disrespectful, because that is not my point here. My point really is; what is the point of releasing him when he makes anything you give him into something positive, he clearly has a connection with the WWE universe and backstage and I really, truly mean no disrespect but  $550,000 per year is hardly breaking the bank considering the WWE has millions upon millions on millions, there is truly nothing positive to come out of this release whatsoever in fact it just highlights how pennypinching the WWE are and yes in this context we are talking the equivalent of pennies, I have seen enough information online to understand that there are conflicting reports that Truth may not have his current contract renewed, because I know there are some people out there in Internet land that will argue he wasn't released or his contract was not renewed, so I have put both here to satisfy everyone... Okay? But regardless that massive news is he is no longer with the WWE which is just all-round is a very sad day indeed.

Yes already there are some people on social media calling us fickle: making reference to the fact of the previous WWE Saturday Night Main Event where Truth took on the Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena Singles Match: firstly go and make love to a self and secondly they didn't give this feud and subsequent match any time at all so what are we meant to go with and in hindsight, because Truth’s time was seemingly running out with the company they should have put the championship on the line; I know, I know  the championship wasn’t going to go anywhere, but still it would have been nice for Truth.

So Thank You R-Truth for just being you and I am not saying you are going to retire, but maybe, just maybe you want to make one last stop before you even consider retiring perhaps in AEW.
