In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Backlash 2025 by AverageMansReviews
Just a heads up: there will be some censored adult language references in
this content at one point or another such as now. I think this card is fudgin'
garbage, because mine one match can we honestly see any other champion being
dethroned? Absolutely fudgin' not and I will discuss the Pat McAfee vs. King
Walter Match later on, but let's be 100% transparent most of these champions
are still going to be champions by the end of this event anyway as they have
just basically become champions in their own rights
LA Knight vs. Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Champ
Jacob Fatu; Fatal Four-Way Match for the WWE United States Championship: my pick is Jacob Fatu. Positive: this should be a banger
of a match on paper. Negative: I don't know how wise it is to feed so many big
names to Fatu so early on in his reign as champion, to be more precise I think
it is fudgin' stupid, just based on where do you go with him after this
victorious defence; 5, 6 or 7 wrestlers for Fatu?
Penta vs. The Judgement Day's: Dominik Mystery [with One
Half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez;] Singles Match for
the WWE Intercontinental Championship:
my pick is Dominik Mystery. Positive: there should be another high quality
match. Negatives: this championship isn't going anywhere, consequently this
would be the second in a row that Penta has lost on a Premium Live Event which
is completely unacceptable, as he is one of those wrestlers that they could
really do something with instead of slowly burying him and on a quick side
note; what the bull-manure are the WWE doing with these women's tag team
championships? I mean in a summary; so they lose them to the wrestlers in the
next match, then to recapture them, then for the previous a Becky Lynch which
had the idea for this pointless title change and then heel turn, then for Liv
Morgan to go off to Hollywood, leaving her tag team partner holding both belts;
I mean have just about summed up everything? For now I will focus on Morgan and
these championships: I mean it is very simple, if you are not they are to
defend your tag team championship you should relinquish your championships then
end of story, thanks the coming. But as it is becoming more and more apparent
that the WWE or/and TKO don't care about women's wrestling, maybe it is to be
expected that we should accept this behaviour? As I keep telling people when it
is appropriate; for the WWE umbrella the concept of women's wrestling/women's
revolution was a PR stunt and that was it.
Becky Lynch vs. Champ Lyra Valkyria; Singles Match for the
WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship: my pick is Becky Lynch. I think in all honesty they/Lynch
has really screwed up this feud from the perspective of their war that is all
we know point of them winning the women's equivalents tag team championships,
just then lose them less than 24 hours later. I mean if they wanted to do this
kind of feud they should have had Lynch cost her team these championships at
Mania especially hypothetically Lynch could have stopped the 3 count at the
last moment or they could have had a good run with these championships with
these two Irish wrestlers having friction heading into SummerSlam 2025 were on
Night 1 they could lose these championships, where everything just blows up and
on Night 2 we could have an unscheduled/scheduled Singles match for the WWE
Women's Intercontinental Championship. But for me they have chosen the worst
out of the three options; it makes/made no sense and were at SummerSlam it
could have been given built into something quite special, instead of just
feeling like an inevitable championship drop.
Pat McAfee vs. King Walter; Singles Match: my pick is Pat McAfee. Now obviously this is going to
take some massive explaining, I have been around wrestling long enough to
possibly smell misdirection. Meaning either someone is going to debut or return
here to distract Walter, so McAfee can rule him up for the 3 count. I should
briefly discuss yes I am fully aware that they could have someone debut or
return to stop the beat down of McAfee after Walter has already picked up the
W, but I think it is slightly more possible that they will go with the shock
value.
Randy Orton vs. Champ John Cena; Singles Match for the
Undisputed WWE Championship: my
pick is John Cena. Look we knew, we all knew that Cena was going to win at
Mania and yes I know he is a heel and obviously I know it has been some time
now, but did he really have to win the way he did? Because frankly I can see
Travis Scott showing up here at Backlash and doing something similar, in
essence I have no interest in seeing this match. Because if you are old enough,
you would know as well and I do we would see this match up many times
throughout the years and I don't care if it is for the last time and finally I
have heard/seen many people say what I am about to say as well or at the very
least something to that effect. I am not so sure doing this whole Cena
destroying wrestling thing is going to be such a great idea, in fact I think it
is a fudgin’ terrible idea, but we will have to wait and see, but I have very
little interest in watching the main roster’s content and it has been that way
for some time now, this entire situation isn’t in the slightest helping their
case.
