"The Silence of the Sheep": briefly; we have two criminals seeking fame and fortune; so they commit these criminal activities, so it is up to Detective Eddie Flemming [Robert De Niro:] he is a detective is also a local celebrity around these parts and let's just say he does like his drink. On the other hand we have FDNY Fire Marshal Jordan Warsaw [Edward Burns:] he leans more towards in straitlaced, but they team up to take down these criminals.

Generally speaking: the script as you will discover later on has substance and greater value of today's standards in due course, but putting that to one side for a moment; the script, framework and pacing for this 120 minutes film is; well it is odd, meaning one moment something is happening, then we have this pedestrian scene or sequence and then we have another situation and then some get up and go. But eventually it settles down into a solidly progressive film which is good.

Action; it is the usual kind of things for this action/crime film with guns and chasing, but at least we get a rigged location/set trap

Comedy, character developments and performances; I have used the best comedy reference already when a character gets something slightly wrong, but the comedy is predominantly designed to be a gel component to our lead partnership of Detective Flemming/De Niro and FDNY Fire Marshal Warsaw/Burns; you know the whole buddy cop genre thing for an example watch out for the coin, so the character developments and the performances are good versions of what they were going for here.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; after everything is said and done, it finds itself in this bracket of my marking system. The biggest asset to this title bar none is the very sad reality even though this film is well over two decades old at this point; that even back then the potential of what the Internet and later on the more specifically in today's language the impact of social media which is very common in today's society from the aspects of what people do for their 15 minutes of fame or recognition or followers or/and mental health and it has one extra sequence after the first lot of credits. This film has 1 Nominee accredited to its name Taurus World Stunt Awards 2002 Taurus Award Best Fight Pete Antico Dane Farwell Jim Palmer Unique fight in New York apartment with Robert De Niro's character is tied to a chair as he battles his two captors.
