Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/component of the relates to Russia and a reference to Ukraine/terrorism/shooting/medical

29 years later: Dr. Jack Ryan [Ben Affleck:] is on the surface as a front historian, but in reality he is a computer analyst for the CIA and DCI William Cabot [Morgan Freeman:] as the letters before his name would suggest he is the Director of Central intelligence and he needs Dr. Jack Ryan assistance on this situation, I can't tell you too much more than that, but I can tell you this much; it is a case of one side of thinks it is the other and the other things it is the other side.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 124 minutes film is good; as the outlay of this project is a walkie-talkie film and working on things as they either decide to take the next step or up-to-date information changes things.

Action; they are solidly good, they serve their purpose, I hasten to add I am not being disrespectful, it is just there is generally speaking a little bit here and a little bit there and the effects of this and that

Character developments and performances; the character developments are likewise solidly good versions of what they are meant to be, but however there is good chemistry in this cast, which turns into well rounded performances to bring these characters to life. But a special mention has to go to Affleck and Freeman as when they are on screen together; their fluency in chemistry is smooth which can be reflected in these rare comedy moments; for an example in a very rough description and nutshell we have Dr. Jack Ryan sitting behind struggling to sit still and keep his mouth shut, so he gives his opinion quietly to DCI Cabot which he tells Dr. Jack Ryan, I am paraphrasing here; don't give me advice now or something to that effect and then he goes back to dealing with this current situation.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; it is a solidly good film, if you like one or both of the performers I have mentioned in this content, then take a look at this film. This film also has some awards accredited to its name; 2 Winners that includes BMI Film & TV Awards 2003 BMI Film Music Award Jerry Goldsmith. 5 Nominees that includes Political Film Society, USA 2003 PFS Award Peace
