Can we just get through this garbage: right from the very beginning, I want to clarify some details as it relates to CM Punk I have never been the biggest fan of him, there has been an update on the travel situation that apparently in short someone got in contact with him, but he said no and secondly it has now been disclosed that Jack Perry had got given the okay from higher-ups, but not Punk to do the real glass Spot on Collision some weeks ago and finally I am not even going to discuss whatever situation took place between Punk and Miro, because generally speaking that sounds like a lot about nothing.

But moving on; there is one thing clearly not working here don't get me wrong I still like AEW and Tony Khan, but as the owner/leader of this promotion the responsibilities have to lay with TK. Because everyone told him, including myself what Punk was like and yet he still took him on, yes I am very much aware that Punk if everything is going well is a game changer and can win you sold out attendances, but like every other sports star of his calibre and temperament, you need to know how to manage these strong people and so far of what I have seen TK is struggling to manage him.

But as it relates to this past Sunday All Out; the more I am finding out, the more I think Perry should be fired. Now wait let me explain, because I don't take this action likely as far as I can tell he had this premeditated as I understand he told some people what he had planned, fully aware of the reaction he was going to get off Punk, in fact it has been alleged that Perry spoke to Punk about the glass spot after this match at this event and everything just escalated from there.

Now let's just analyse what I have just said; Perry allegedly had this all planned out, so there goes the alibi for doing this in the heat of the moment and the following is a very important details of why I think Perry should be fired; he took it upon himself to make this statement on the biggest event in wrestling, so he put himself first before the reputation and credibility of AEW, which could have left AEW in somewhat of a sticky situation of pure embarrassment, I mean it has been told that some wrestlers of AEW are unhappy because of the Punk situation and I am being neutral here, but like it or not, this is what you get with Punk years uncompromising and yes I know he has taken pot-shots at everyone else, but as I have already indicated if you don't have a strong management system in place, Punk will take care of business his own way and finally as it relates to Perry being fired if it happened this Sunday at All Out instead of at Wembley, I would still give him his suspension but that would be it. It is just Perry took this massive situation where AEW had been building for years to this point and yes they made a massive impact, but between him and Punk they pretty much screwed over there are other wrestling co-workers and finally just for the record based on the fact that this situation took place on a big stage such as Wembley, I would like them both gone, as I have said in other content and different points CM Punk has his assets, but it is very much the case outweighing his assets with his negatives.

Obviously I am going to finish on this final point; because I think it is hilarious in a sarcastic manner; it is now being suggested that certain people are now worried about the pay-per-view next Sunday All Out in Chicago and CM Punk being suspended whilst this investigation about this situation with Perry is ongoing. Well I couldn't see that coming Oh wait I did, no I literally did as I have made reference to it in the previous connecting content; I mean let's be incredibly real here AEW doesn't get chanted out of the building with CM Punk chants either continuously or partly I would consider this to be a good night, regardless if they like AEW or not, they will always back their hometown hero, maybe you think about refunds TK as I have likewise made reference to it in the previous content as well, By the way TK I am sure Punk Finding out by his lawyers that he is suspended is going to sit well with Punk or if he has Internet access you could have found out online before his lawyers anyway, I'm sure that hasn't added any claims to this fire, regardless of where your opinions lay in this whole entire saga even as someone that likes AEW and TK even I have to say in one way or another this has been a spectacular screw up on two pay-per-views back to back in one week, I mean that takes some doing, even Mr. McMahon with his short-term booking would be impressed by this.

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE WrestleMania IX 04/04/1993 Match 3 Part 3 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE WrestleMania IX 04/04/1993   Match 3 Part 3 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning/Disclaimer: there is some lights being used. Disclaimer I have never been or are likely to be a professional wrestler

Match/Stipulation: Crush vs. Doink the Clown; Singles Match

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 7/10

Match Slot Storyline: 7/10

Crowd Participation: 7/10

On Commentary: "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Jim Ross & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/" Wiesel" 7/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 7/10

Recommend Watch: 7/10

Match Total: 42/60 - this match/match slot is good

Comments: this match/match slot is solidly good in one way or another it plays into these wrestlers/characters strengths. I will begin with the commentary table/team; basically Heenan points out that this action is unfair, because the bell hasn't gone yet. But I can reassure you it had gone already a short time ago and yes just to make sure I replayed this moment. Heenan makes reference to Clown falling backwards when he was on the top turnbuckle, but he didn't fall backwards, okay the occasion that Heenan is making reference to; it happens at the bottom right turnbuckle even Savage points out he almost falls off, this is where Heenan adds backwards. I would say that the Crown looks okay, but I would say he looks a bit jittery. Later on Savage makes reference to this situation again as in he almost fell off last time or something to that effect. What irritates me about this is yes they talk about he can wrestle as it relates to the Crown, but what they don't make reference to his there are two occasions where it comes off the top turnbuckle and they don't make reference to it whatsoever. Ross point out how perfect a piledriver is being performed by the Crown, which is true. But however and before I continue I need to point out that this just may be Crush's hairstyle of the mullet including the possibility of his height as well, but you can clearly see his head after the clown's legs, just to make sure I don't have any repercussions verbally for this; I know there is a height difference between these two wrestlers and I refer you back to my disclaimer. I am sure the Clown and everything goes okay for this move; it is just everyone knows if you have been around wrestling long enough what happens when this particular move Or a version of this move goes wrong and in fairness and balance Crush looks absolutely fine after this as he continues the match. I knew if I didn't bring up this point I would run the risk of getting some backlash maybe some time now or in the future.

Back to the commentary team, to be honest they are beginning to get a little bit tiresome and full disclosure, it may not be their fault I then they are getting fed these lines but who knows. Ross makes reference to this Referee [Joey Marella] makes reference to the referee lying there motionless and Savage makes reference to no he is just out cold that is all he is and then we have Heenan chipping in with; he's down and guess what he can't get back up. I mean these are basically and roughly the same thing or at minimum they are in the same ballpark, it just comes across as they are stepping on each other's toes and I know Heenan is meant to be a heel on commentary. But this consistent bickering for an example about Ross' background is becoming so a little bit tedious.

Basic Result: Doink the Clown picks up the W.

Basic walk-through of this event:

* "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Jim Ross & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary talk about what they have just seen over live goings-on including Doink the Clown's theme music "Evil Behind the Makeup"

* Referee: Bill Alfonso comes quickly down to the ring to inform his referee colleague Marella that shady goings-on to place have a quick investigation and Alfonso assists Marella to the back and yes on top of this we have the commentary team talking about this shadiness as well.

* Todd Pettengill: Interviewer is in the audience/crowd, he asks these Japanese media some questions and let's just say using political correctness without getting myself cancelled, it goes as well as you expect it to go. Yes this is good light wood for; whatever this was meant to be I am not even touching it, it isn't bad but as I have already indicated in this day in age I am not going to get myself cancelled. But I digress; Razor Ramon's theme music hits "Bad Boy" Pettengill sends us down to the ring.

* Finkus Maximus: Ring announcer the stipulations and then introduces the competitors.

Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: All In 27/08/2023, Fall Out Continues 29/08/2023 by AverageMansReviews

Recap: Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: All In 27/08/2023, Fall Out based on information 28/08/2023 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2023/08/reactionary-to-wrestling-news-of-all-in.html

What do you want me to say really?: I mean at this point I am past being angry with CM Punk, because Phil Brooks a.k.a. CM Punk is just being CM Punk. I am not a wrestling expert, I have been around a long time, but I'm just going to say it as things are; I like Tony Khan. But firstly I now have to believe that it was naive of Khan to either not believe the controversial reputation of Punk or Punk would be any different for him in his promotion. Yes I get it, I acknowledge the fact that Punk can be a big financial draw which is great, but the consequences of this is you also have to put up with the potential for either people rubbing him up the wrong way or vice versa.

I now understand that these two things happened at this event on Sunday; in a nutshell Punk on landing in the UK had to find his own way around and yes he got lost, so this is bad management I don't care if he is one of your main event talents or one of your jobber talents that is used to warm up the crowd and not even on the card or just one of your wrestlers that is used to warm up the crowd and not even on the Zero Hour Show, whilst a talent is under a promotion's contract they should have or at the very least try and make things easier for them and not to leave them hanging especially when in this case it is one of your main event talents. I mean even though I am not a Punk fan, I can tell you they did him a great disservice and fast-forward to the scuffle with Jack "I Hold Grudges" Perry, which I have to be honest this opportunistic screw up by him, my opinion has completely changed of him. I mean what the hell was he thinking? Regardless if you like him or hate him or are in different to him I think we can all agree, that it was the most stupidest and idiotic idea/actions to take on forget the whole friction thing for a second but to make this point on the biggest stage of your career and of wrestling in general was in the nicest way I could put it is just crazy [as I am dictating this there has been some indications that this was premeditated by Perry as he reportedly told some people backstage, so if this is true, he is a complete idiot.] I mean when Perry comes back off suspension, if I was TK I would be saying if you ever do that kind of thing again your contract will be terminated with immediate effect, the biggest screw up was where, Perry could have easily just flushed all these years of hard work for AEW the wrestling promotion getting to somewhere as big as Wembley in the UK having roughly 81,000 people in attendance for Perry to make this incident with Punk to quickly overshadow this momentous occasion, I am not being a fickle wrestling fan but if you want me to clarify on why my opinion has changed this is the reason where Perry could have really screwed things up for AEW and let's be completely honest and real here; without AEW Perry would be absolutely nothing. At some point in or around this incident it has been said that Punk said he quit, but he went away and calmed down and still had his booked match/slot with Samoa Joe for Punk's "Real" Championship.

The funny thing is; there are some within AEW that want Punk's personality as it relates to his essentially approachability and even though I am not or part of the wrestling world as in it; I know this is not going to happen as I have already said in the linked content Phil Brooks/CM Punk is uncompromising, I mean it is not just a promo point, it is the way he chooses to live his life and that is fair enough, you know what you get with him, it is just beyond stupid for AEW or any other wrestling promotion to think that Phil/Punk is going to change for anyone regardless of how much money you pay him.

Even though we are some years down the line with AEW since its inception in 2019 is still shows how green they are, when they they clearly have problems backstage where wrestlers go into business for themselves and yes I know MJF said or made reference to it isn't just us I am paraphrasing obviously. But at some point this level of backstage antics has to calm down a little, because if not people outside of this company, will find it harder and harder to believe anyone that says this promotion is not toxic and I believe generally it isn't. But I have to confess; man when things escalate, they escalate quickly from an outsider there seems to be no stoppers. In the sense of management of any description, squashing a situation or let's be fair in these trying to squash and instant or situation before the following stages of escalation [and just come back I should just point out again, this was my opinion from an outsider, this is not fact.]

It is never a good look that the wrestling Internet universe knows that Punk is suspended before Punk, I mean everyone knows you shouldn't always believe what you read online, but in this case this is very true, as of this being dictated he didn't know or doesn't know it isn't known what Perry knows at this point. But it does remind me of those wrestlers that may have been released or their contract has expired and they didn't have any word from management, it just really isn't a good look and I am being completely unbiased/neutral here, because I do like AEW, but as a person I know it just isn't a good look, Not forgetting this small detail that Punk now hates AEW, yes that is now being reported.

But consequently TK now actually has a massive problem; you see I didn't know this until today, because I wasn't looking at this pay-per-view just yet AEW All Out that it actually takes place in Punk's territory/home town of Chicago. So how are you going to get out of this one TK? Because yes you did the right thing on both counts, but you have set yourself up for having your pay-per-view being hijacked by CM Punk chants, so are you going to issue refunds? Because a good number of people that have purchased a ticket may have just under the pretence of seeing their hometown hero Punk and for those young wrestling fans out there if you don't think it will happen, you are young and naive that this behaviour happened when Punk left the WWE all those years ago in fact, this chant was used whenever the WWE crowd got bored or irritated by what they were seeing at the time, so all I can say is good luck to TK with trying to deal with this problem.

This may surprise some people out there in Internet land: that either way as it relates to this entire situation I just don't care, no really I just don't care. I'm not even frustrated or angry about it.

Let's be real: I got taking any one side here, because as I have just referenced it twice and this will be my final time, I just don't care and I should expand on that; if no one is willing to learn from Brawl Out 2022 a.k.a. All Out Media Scrum 2022 then why should I be surprised that this kind of level of friction looks to be continuing and as MJF I am paraphrasing here made reference to in his opening media scrum comments; yes we don't all have to get along. But from my perspective now there has to be a middle ground between the locker room getting along and putting allegedly a wrestler in a choke hold.

When I say learn, straight away the first thing is you don't ruffle CM Punk's feathers and let me just remind you here I am being neutral, I say this; because if Kenny Omega, Matt and Nick Jackson [AEW EVP's] and " Hangman" Adam Page felt the wrath of Punk in 2022, how arrogant and I will call it as I see it how arrogant does Perry think he is? Meaning if EVP's of the promotion you're working for has felt the wrath, a son of a film/TV star hasn't got much of a chance, especially when the EVP's have in the world of professional wrestling very much earn respect and Perry is in comparison just beginning.

This situation was very much unnecessary and stupid on Perry's part; nutshell version of events leading up to his altercation. Perry a few weeks ago wanted to do a spot with real glass on AEW: Collision so he could be written off TV so he could go on holiday the following week, Punk, others such as medical and Tony Schiavone said no. Fast-forward to yesterday [Sunday] AEW: All In Hook vs. Champ Perry for the FTW Championship, where Perry I am paraphrasing here/nutshell makes reference to a real glass spot in their match down the camera to Punk. For a bit of comedy I will now set up a dumb counter, so obviously this is dumb 1; Perry should have let this situation go, but as a baby he threw his rattle out of the pram. But didn't dumb 2; Perry instigated things at the worst time opportunistic idiot on the biggest stage ever in wrestling; he chose to verbally attack Punk publicly. Dumb 3; whatever happened backstage could have potentially injured Punk, I know it didn't but I am going off the potential outcome and I have seen someone else's content that puts across the idea that it was a slight concern if Punk couldn't wrestle. Even if this is true or not, I can still completely understand it, if something had taken place it could have put Joe vs. Champ Punk for the "Real" Championship at risk on this live pay-per-view, but we know it wasn't the case. Dumb 4; even though I think it was the right decision, it still qualifies because this could have been Perry's biggest night of his career and instead of enjoying the event after so many years of this company working hard to get to this big stage, Perry gets sent back to his hotel room like a child, So that is what he will be remembered for until the end of time, regardless of what he does  with the rest of his career, everyone will bring up his accomplishments and so on and so forth, but on the  first-ever international Wembley UK pay-per-view, where was he; mousing off, altercation and basically getting sent home, good going Perry [I am very much aware that Punk got the same or similar treatment which because I know Punk is very much a hot head when he has been irritated or disrespected this was absolutely the right move, so I can't say it was dumb.] Dumb 5; this could have so easily taken over the media scrum, I know it gets referenced and finally we come to dumb 6; even though I think again it was and is the right decision both Perry and Punk have been officially suspended with an investigation happening, I say it is dumb, because whilst they are suspended both wrestlers are basically costing AEW money based on their contracts and for those people that paid or were considering paying their good money to see them individually and not forgetting one ever so small, really tiny detail really [yes I am being sarcastic;] that next Sunday 03/09/2023 it is AEW All Out 2023 and they will not be available. Dumb 7; let's be completely honest here they could have spoken about this entire situation civilly on one hand Perry is young and by the looks of it very naive, whilst on the other hand Punk could have been the old veteran and try to de-escalate this situation, but we all know that isn't his style Punk is always going to be Punk uncompromising on who he is, it isn't just a wrestling promo that is who Punk/Phil Brooks is. I mean if you have been following me long enough you would know I made references to what Punk bring to the table, be it positives or/and negatives. But I can tell you this even though I don't work for AEW; Perry will not be seen on Collision any time soon that is for certain.

Even though I have brain damage I can get the moral of this story, I mean I got it when Punk was with the WWE, but even more so with AEW, I mean it is so easy to understand; don't screw with or take verbal shots at Phil/Punk. You either learn this or these kind of situations will continue to happen or the talent or Punk can leave when their contracts are up.

Comments: if you were indeed were alive or into wrestling at this point in history, you would know as I do both of these tag teams came from the model of we have what we have as in skill, you have what you have and let's see who comes out on top. Full disclosure I did fall asleep watching this match, but that was more down to me running out of steam and nothing to do with this match/match slot. Ross provides us with incoming news as it relates to "Sensational" Sherry and Luna Vachon and their ongoing situation. Savage I am going to say what confused by listening to this script over his head said, I don't know this to be true obviously but he did get something back to front. Where I am paraphrasing here he was meant to say to Ross; Heenan has always got a defence but instead of saying he-man uses Ross has always got a defence which Heenan picked up one and in a nutshell never mind.

Basic Result: The Steiner Brothers: Rick "Dogface Gremlin" & Scott Steiner pick up the victory.

Basic walk-through of this event:

* "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Jim Ross & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary talk about what they have just seen over live goings-on including The Steiner Brothers: Rick "Dogface Gremlin" & Scott Steiner's theme music "Prides of Michigan"

* "Mean" Gene Okerlund: Interviewer for the last match Okerlund beards witness to his guest at this time Doink the Clown [he is in the on-screen as well] desecrate the statue of Julius Caesar in the background and in response to this in a nutshell he says it is art playing and pleasant tricks on kids. Then we move on to his match which is coming up imminently against Crash in a Singles Match, a little into this interview we have this recap of footage over this interview, basically the build up to why we are here and then we go back to this interview on-screen

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE WrestleMania IX 04/04/1993   Match 1 Part 1 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

On rotation: after this pay-per-view we are heading into the land of WCW

Basic walk-through of this event:

* Opening sequence to this pay-per-view: roughly; warning flashing and colourful effects can be seen at some point in this opening; voice over from Vince McMahon, it is has coliseum approach with the main event of Yokozuna on the side of one building vs. the WWF Champion Brett "The Hitman" Hart on another building. It is all a bit odd really, either go with the Roman theme which trust me anyone that has seen this pay-per-view knowns that is what they went with and besides this it is highly imaginative and creative. But for here and now this kind of city theme with advertising the main event doesn't work here. But I digress McMahon in his intro finishes off by introducing our host for this event which is Gorilla Monsoon.

* Gorilla Monsoon: Host appears on-screen welcomes us to this event and introduces a new colleague to the broadcast team Jim Ross.

* Jim Ross Commentary: appears on-screen, does the happy to be here thing, followed by talking about our two main events; graphic appears of Hart holding his WWE Championship over his shoulder with Yokozuna looking as if his body is off to one side with his head looking at the camera. Second graphic of  The Mega-Maniacs: Hulk Hogan & Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake [with "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart] on one side of the screen vs. the WWF Tag Team Champions Money Inc. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase & I.R.S holding their Championships; they are on the line tonight. We go back to live footage and Ross as he introduces our ring announcer for tonight, we know him as Howard Finkel, but tonight he is Finkus Maximus.

* Finkus Maximus: Ring announcer he begins the opening ceremony with Ross providing commentary with Julius Caesar and Cleopatra coming down to the ring on this element and their gladiators leading. "Macho Man" Randy Savage gets his own high-quality entrants, which there is a little confusion, because the belief was that it was meant for Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/" Wiesel" Savage goes into the ring and pumped up the crowd a little bit more and then heads over to the commentary table to talk to Ross about this event. But don't worry Heenan gets his own entrance, but basically on a camel facing backwards, he has a comical yet undignified dismount to thanks to Savage in more than one way, to join his other commentators.

* Finkus Maximus: Ring announcer the stipulations and then introduces the competitors.

Comments: I should start from the very beginning you may have noticed as it relates to Sherry I didn't say with, because yes she comes down with Tatanka, but Heenan and/or Ross put over there is no connection. Sherry just want to see Michaels hopefully lose his championship. Yes at some point Heenan says racial things about Tatanka and I know this is Ross' first mania as he tells us earlier on. So I don't want to seem too harsh, but he does have some bloopers on commentary; when he says this is our first event of  WrestleMania IX, when it should have been match instead of event. He calls two different moves a fall-away slam, but on both occasions he is wrong. The first occasion is a wrestling move called electric chair and the second is the Samoan drop.

Now on to the wrestling itself; Michael from the top turnbuckle on the far right hand side performs this sunset flip pin and let's just say it isn't the most moving as of version, at best it is clunky. Michaels performs this version of a victory roll pin from the bottom right corner of the ring which likewise at best this clunky [full disclosure; I could remember this pinning move; but Ross says it on commentary, I was thinking if I was going to point out some bloopers I needed to point this out to balance things out a little bit and if anyone has grown up around Ross and his commentary, you know as well as I do he always has tried to be enthusiastic and not forgetting as I have already referenced this was his first Mania, so maybe he was just a little bit nervous.]

The conclusion of this match is a complete mess; to somewhat speed this up and not to give everything a way; both competitors are outside of the ring Michaels goes in and then comes out on account of I would say 8 [our viewing perspective is somewhat blocked so I will stick with 8] so in theory the Referee Joey Marella, showed have a new fresh 10 count to work with. But he just keeps counting, so he turns around to maybe call for the bell he gets pulled outside of the ring by Michael; Michaels and Tatanka continue the match, Tatanka goes in for the pin and then the Referee called it off and calls for the bell, but the outcome is wrong [I know I have just said that about a simulated sport.] But it all comes down to that new and fresh 10 count.

Basic Result: I know I have pretty much indicated the outcome but as always I have to do the admin "The Native American" Tatanka ["Sensational" Sherry] picks up the victory.

Basic walk-through of this event:

* "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Jim Ross & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": Commentary talk about what they have just seen over live goings-on including "The Native American" Tatanka's theme music "The War Dance."

* "Mean" Gene Okerlund: Interviewer talked about this pay-per-view what has just happened and what is coming up next in the form of a big tag team match on the way to the ring The Headshrinkers: Samu & Fatu [with Afa] taking on Okerlund's guest at this time [they enter the short] The Steiner Brothers: Rick & Scott Steiner talking about this match and it is their first time at Mania.

* Finkus Maximus: Ring announcer the stipulations and then introduces the competitors.
