The final curtain call for Bruce Willis: in summary; Adrian [Dominic Purcell;] has stolen this
very valuable technology and some people including Valmora [Bruce Willis:] a
Private military contractor wanted back including using the technology with
someone that is willing like Alexa [Nomzamo Mbatha:] she has served your
country and now wants to get her partner out of the coma he is in. Sebastian
[Mustafa Shakir:] he has also served his country and was also working for
Valmora before his coma.
The framework and pacing of this 87
minutes film is messy, you know when you have a film that is trying to put like
a genre field through the project in question in this case science fiction. But
it is/was a spectacular failure and to complement that in a negative sense, we
have which feels like absolutely nothing, it is a mixture between
straightforward and are we there yet?
Action/Art:
there isn't too much to talk about here, we get guns/weapons being used and
combat and that kind of thing, I will discuss the action more later on but
briefly and for the art we do get some if very little science fiction inspired
elements like a bath, this will make more sense if or when you watch this film,
but all I am saying is they have least tried to put in some science fiction
elements into this science fiction-based film.
Character developments and performances: generally speaking the character developments and
performances are on both counts solid versions of what they are meant to be.
But Bruce Willis as Valmora is a massive positive in this film, which I will
discuss in the next section of this content, but for here and now; he still has
IT.
This film receives: 2/10, this film is poor; I like the idea of this film,
but it is so poorly executed and I have decided to award this film an extra
mark based on Bruce Willis' performance, he is/was being Bruce Willis action
star mentality/character even though he gets to shoot a gun in a very small
amount of times in his final ever film.
