Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/terrorism/man on woman violence/shooting/torture/burning/disfigurement/impaling/drowning

Haven't we been here before?: ATF Special Agent Douglas Carlin/ATF Special Agent Douglas Carlin [Denzel Washington:] is an ex-service man for his country the United States of America, but is now an ATF Special Agent, which is excellent at his job. He wants to stop any domestic terrorist Carroll Oerstadt/Carroll Oerstadt [Jim Caviezel:] a very focused and dedicated individual that is psychologically unbalanced, this opinion comes from every service that this individual has tried out for and he has failed the psychological evaluation before he perpetrates his mission and wants to save the life of Claire Kuchever/Claire Kuchever [Paula Patton:] which is a very soft and nice woman, but ATF Special Agent Carlin has seen her dead ones already and tries everything to make sure that; that doesn't happen again. But without giving too much away, but I need to mention his name FBI Special Agent Paul Pryzwarra [Val Kilmer:] a FBI Special Agent that is very good at his job, he knows of these people and of their equipment that may help ATF Special Agent Carlin and him catch this domestic terrorist with hopefully time to spare.

The framework and pacing of this 126 minutes film is on both counts a smooth high quality execution of this particular science fiction outlay.

Art/Action: once again the science fiction representation is smartly and neatly shown throughout as it relates to this technology used, including the action sequences such as ATF Special Agent Carlin and Claire Kuchever have drove off this ferry under fire into/quickly sinking and going under with this explosive device set to go off very shortly in fact it goes off a second before they take off, with her hands taped to the steering wheel with both of them trying to free her as quickly as possible with this ferry making even more difficult as it carries on his journey over them in this vehicle; this sequence of events is chaotically elegant.

Character developments and performances: the cast gel what with good character types and likewise good performances.

This film receives: 7/10 this film is good; the reason why I have been a little bit general in this review/content, is because if you are from the science fiction community or have an interest in science fiction films or anything really and if you have been around this genre long enough, this outlay should be very familiar to you, consequently I can't talk about it in any great detail, simply because I would run the risk of giving too much away. This film also has some awards accredited to 1 Winner Nielsen/EDI Gold Reel Awards 2007 Winner International Gold Reel Award Buena Vista International 6 Nominees that includes Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 2007 Saturn Award Best Science Fiction Film, Black Reel Awards 2007, Black Reel Best Breakthrough Performance Paula Patton, Gran Premio Internazionale del Doppiaggio 2007 Audience Award Best Voice Actor Francesco Pannofino For the dubbing of Denzel Washington and yes I have no idea why this award is here; World Soundtrack Awards 2007 World Soundtrack Award Soundtrack Composer of the Year Harry Gregson-Williams For Shrek the Third , The Number 23 and Flushed Away.
