Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful/this film is based around Christianity/flashing effects/colourful effects/capital punishment - hanging/shooting/stabbing/burning/human trafficking/cutting/breaking/medical. Disclaimer: because of the religious nature of this film I would feel more comfortable just saying whatever say about this film, it doesn't give me much to work with just based on this project is religious and in a roundabout way what I'm trying to say is an Apple is an Apple and I can't change that so I'm not going to have too much to say about this film.

A Christian version of Mad Max is what we have here:  so in a nutshell; Josh McManus/Roller/ The Black Rider [David A.R. White] has only a little time left to save this girl's life, but he needs to find a surgeon; the surgeon's name is grace, but he meets her daughter Sofia [Hilty Bowen] and making a deal with Drake [James Denton] if he gets The Shepherd a.k.a. George Hilcott [Robert Gossett,] Grace may be with him.

The pacing of this 112 minutes film is fundamentally sound it does what it is designed to do and that is about it really, I should very quickly point out that this film almost put me to sleep at one point.

Art and Action: as I have already referenced we have this Mad Max presentation and feel, but also means we have we get an action sequence in vehicles and combat; this is all good and as it relates to the art we have some good scenes as it relates to different times of the day.

Comedy; there is a drop of comedy when Honcho [Kevin Sorbo] drops his voice for this character and talks how this character would normally talk to McManus, just before McManus has a combat sequence with another character.

The character developments and performances; they are solid versions of what they are meant to be and we have a returning Bruce Marchiano as The Stranger/Jesus [Bruce Marchiano.]

This film receives: 2/10, this film is poor; it does what it is designed to do and that is talk/show Christianity and it is confession time, I was under the impression it had Steve "Sting" Borden was it, but made a mistake you see I do a little bit of research, but in this case I should have done more research Steve "Sting" Borden wasn't in it. But on some research he is in the first two instalments this would be the third instalment of this franchise, but as I watched this film, I may as well make content out of it and yes some of you may be thinking what a complete cock up of this he is making and yes there would be true.
