Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/medical

This is a paint by numbers animated film: here is the basic storyline Winnie Coyle [Younger: voice by Kaya McLean/Adult: voiced by Geraldine Viswanathan] needs to find a monster to wrestle in the WMW [World Monster Wrestling] to save their newly renovated Jimbo Coyle Stadium as their monster; the reigning and defending World Monster Champion [a.k.a.The Big Bell] Tentacular "T" [voiced by Terry Crews] turns heel [this wrestling terminology that means in a nutshell bad character type] and goes the town of Stoker-on-Avon to Slitherpoole. Eventually she finds this monster by the name of Steve/Steve the Stupendous/Rayburn Jr. [Younger: Rayburn Jr. voice by Kaya McLean/Adult: Will Arnett] which has his own problems. Throughout our travels we have voices from wrestling, boxing and the NFL and the NBA [yes full disclosure I noticed some of these names on the casting list which made me go looking for others;] so let's begin wrestling; Ramarilla Jackson [voiced by Roman Reigns] and Axehammer [voiced by Becky Lynch] boxing/wrestling/NFL Stoker announcer [Michael Baffler;] yes the legendary ring announcer that says Let's get ready to rumble! boxing; King Gorge [voiced by Chris Eubank/Chris Eubank Sr.] NFL Dennis [voiced by Jamal Duff] NBA Rayburn Sr. [voiced by Charles Barkley] and finally American sports presenter and other jobs in this field  Marc Remy [voiced by Stephen A. Smith.]

The pacing for this 95 minutes film and the construction of it is; like I have already made reference to a paint by numbers experience, so I can't criticise it too much because this project has been sent out to do its job, which is entertaining young families to and this is speculation on my part mixed in with its aim hopefully to make a small profit margin or at minimum to hopefully break even.

The animation is of a standard which is solid, run-of-the-mill and when it wants to be colourful, action; good wrestling, training obstacle course and dancing training or other.

The comedy; well for the old parents or old adults we have Benny Hill's legendary running around fast-forward music over [the theme music from the Benny Hill Show from 1955-1968  the replay of Steve and his coach Winnie's first official wrestling match or we have the also legendary lift up movement from Dirty Dancing 1987 or at the very least that is the aim, it doesn't exactly go according to plan on any count whatsoever in this film.

The character developments and performances; the character developments are follow their character types and the performances are safe and reliable.

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; because on every single level it follows a simple yet reliable format, because of this; this is the only mark I could give this film, throughout the closing credits we have things going on or this art which moves a bit this is good and it does show a little bit of imagination and the same can be said for; very finally because I have just remembered we have the TNA [Total Non-stop Action] 6 sides ring [from 2004 to 2010, on a quick side note I really loved this concept] being used in this film or just to cover my back it uses a similar shape to it.
