In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW Full Gear 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Buy-In: Eddie Kingston vs. Jun Akiyama; Singles Match: my pick is Eddie Kingston. Full disclosure I don't know anything about his opponent here.

Buy-In: Best Friends/Roppongi Vice's: the AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta, Rocky Romero & Danhausen vs. The factory's QT Marshall, Aaron Solo, Lee Johnson, Nick Comoroto & Cole Karter; 10-Man Tag Team Match: Best Friends/Roppongi Vice's: the AEW All-Atlantic ChampionOrange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta, Rocky Romero & Mystery Partner. My pick is the AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta, Rocky Romero & Mystery Partner. All of these Buy-In matches have been designed to engage with its live audience in attendance and get them enthusiastic for the pay-per-view ahead, especially if the way I am predicting them with their results and if you're wondering why I am saying it here instead of the last Buy-In match, it is simply because this is the final match at have to put in.

Buy-In: The Embassy's The Gates of Agony's Brian Cage [with Prince Nana] vs. Ricky Starks; AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament Semi-finals: my pick is Ricky Starks. Well it is obvious that Starks is someone that should be around the upper mid card to main event, I know he is a main eventer just for a little while longer, he needs to dodge everything going on in the main event picture. Not because I don't think he can handle it, because he can for sure. I just wouldn't want to waste his potential in the ongoing picture at the moment with all these potential surrounding characters [which I will discuss a little later] so for now if he keeps winning and comes out of nowhere to say hold on you have had your turn, so he goes from the angle of concrete good reason for being in the main event picture

Luchasaurus [with Christian Cage] vs. "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry; Steel Cage Match: my pick is "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry. Even though I haven't watched much up-to-date AEW content lately, just down to finding time to make content, even with me is an experienced watching wrestling. Hopefully they will go with Perry escaping from the cage to protect Luchasaurus pin loss, so we can either have one more match between Perry and Cage at AEW Revolution 2023 to finish off this feud then so everyone can move on or they could end this feud here, either way would be good.

The Lethal Connection's: Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal vs. Sting & Darby Allin; Tag Team Match: my pick is Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal. Now I am not sure if the rest of The Lethal Connection: Satnam Singh, Cole Karter and Sonjay Dutt, will come out with them or if they are going to use the match outlay of things are looking bad for Jarrett and Lethal, so they can running down to the ring to distract the referee and someone hands Jarrett his guitar to hit Sting with it to pick up the W to hopefully set up a singles match at AEW Revolution 2023, possibly with the stipulation of if Sting loses he can't tag with Allin anymore and Sting wanting something in return, I don't know like my idea in the previous match this is all speculation, but sadly this is the only way I can see if they wanted to split up Sting & Allin this would be an efficient way to do it with a solid storyline.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. [with Rebel] vs. Saraya; Singles Match: my pick is Saraya. Simply put this would be her first match in roughly about 5 years, so it wouldn't be wise to have a lose especially after everything she been through what with injuries and so on and so forth in her 20s. But I would just say if she feels or get that feeling in her stomach not to do a spot at any point just don't do it. Before I get to backlash on this comment I said something to this effect when Bryan and/or Edge returned into in ring competition I can't remember which one or both, but I can remember saying something like this.

Nyla Rose [with Vickie Guerrero & Marina Shafia] vs. Champ Jade Cargill [with Baddie Keira Hogan & Unofficial Baddie Leila Grey;] Singles for the AEW TBS Championship Match: my pick is Jade Cargill. This feels like one of those moments in time where, we could have a debut or maybe a return to confront Cargill, I mean I have no idea about the return of Red Velvet to turn babyface and attempt to dismantle this group that she was once a part of. I should just point out, fair enough it may not be her, because the last we heard she was on the shelf for a long time, but I am predicting someone to be in this spot, which I have no idea who it would be.

Blackpool Combat Club's Bryan Danielson &/vs. Claudio Castagnol [with William Regal] vs. Jericho Appreciation Society's Sammy Guevara [with Tay Melo] &/vs. Champ Chris Jericho; Four-way Match for the ROH World Championship: my pick is Chris Jericho. Briefly hopefully this match outlay should be Jericho just picking up an opportunistic pin and happy to just get out of here, with friction between everyone involved in the ring, so over the next cycle of TV programming, don't worry I don't see anyone breaking up here, but maybe some matches to either resolve their differences or they want to be the next one in line for an opportunity at this championship or something between these lines.

Powerhouse Hobbs vs. the ROH World Television Champion vs. the AEW TNT Champion Wardlow; Tree-way Match for the AEW TNT championship: my pick is Wardlow. Because this feels like the beginning of a very exciting triangle feud between these for either one or both of these championships at some point down the line I should just point out, this is speculation on my part about maybe bring both of these championships in to play at one point or another.

Swerve In Our Glory: Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland vs. Champs The Acclaimed: Anthony Bowens & Max Caster [with Billy Gunn;] Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships: my pick is The Acclaimed: Anthony Bowens & Max Caster. But however Lee will turn heel, I know Strickland is already a heel, but I see Lee going over to shake the hands of the victorious team and Gunn and then from out of nowhere including surprising his tag team partner Lee just lays waste to the champions and then he just calmly leaves the ring walks past Strickland with him going something to the effect of holy hell, this is on. So they are now heels either individually connected as a tag team or as a tag team, I just see too much potential and money to be made here with Swerve In Our Glory, don't waste this opportunity AEW.

The Elite:  Kenny Omega [with Don Callis,] The Young Bucks: Matt & Nick Jackson [with Brandon Cutler] vs. Champs: Death Triangle: Pac, The Lucha Brothers:  Pac, Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fénix [with Alex Abrahantes;] Six-Man Tag team Match for the AEW World Trios Championship: my pick is Death Triangle: Pac, The Lucha Brothers:  Pac, Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fénix. This pick is going to need some explaining I know, I know these champions here will lose to these competitors and put the championships back where they were originally, which I have no problem with this. But just not here and now, based on the grounds I don't want Death Triangle to essentially look as just holding champions until The Elite returned I know some people will say "Well that is what they are." But I actually see great value in Death Triangle and between them they have deserved to win here, off the back of this; build a feud and lose at AEW Revolution 2023 that way it gets away from the holding champions thing, everyone looks good and it gets the championships where they were, so just don't do it here please.

MJF vs. Champ Blackpool Combat Club's Jon Moxley; Singles Match for the AEW World Championship; This is MJF's Casino Ladder poker chip cash-in match: my pick is MJF. Once again I know from seeing things online that The Firm and MJF have in a nutshell have had their problems. But all I can see at this pay-per-view is the double swerve where members of this group or the entire group come down to seemingly stick it to MJF again, but at the very last second a line themselves with MJF again to ensure he becomes the new AEW World Champion which I am on board with this it does 100% everything it is designed to do; protects Moxley from takes a championship off him and gives him a freshening up feud with him going through or trying to go through The Firm to get to MJF and puts the championship on MJF. I just hope he doesn't run into the ground that no one saw this coming, don't worry I expect him to use this as heel heat and content in his promos, but as I have literally outlined this plan, I could see it coming and I am sure I am not the only one, like I have already referenced I hope he doesn't push it to the extent of go away heat, because yes I am not a fan of him, but from an unbiased perspective I have also just said I am on board with this.

With seeing what is happening between basically William Regal and MJF, in short there will be a rematch between Moxley and MJF at AEW Revolution for the AEW World Championship where the time we get here there should be enough content/material here for Regal to turn on Moxley and The Blackpool Combat Club and join at minimum MJF or/and The Firm for good reasons such as MJF was there for Regal when it mattered, so yes Regal is a heel at this point. But something worse a heel which makes perfect sense so the AEW fan base can get on board with whomever he associates with.
