In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Extreme Rules 2022 by AverageMansReviews

The Brawling Brutes [Sheamus, Ridge Holland & Butch] vs. Imperium [the WWE Intercontinental Champion Walter, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci;] Six-Man Tag Team Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match: my pick is Imperium [the WWE Intercontinental Champion Walter, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci.] Obviously this match is going to be a hard-hitting affair, excellent fun but I hope these competitors don't pick up any long-term injuries.

Edge vs. The Judgement Day's Finn Bálor; "I Quit" Match: my pick is The Judgement Day's Finn Bálor. I expect the rest of The Judgement Day; Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio and likewise for Edge Rey Mysterio to interfere in this match at some point throughout. But at the beginning of this paragraph it dawned on me how are they going to get Edge to say the words "I Quit" and they are going to use this old, but reliable storyline angle/match outlay. Now Edge would never willingly say "I Quit." But he would to protect someone he loves like his wife Beth Phoenix, so  Rhea Ripley with Dominik sets up a  conchairto which is synonymous with Edge and/or Christian [for those that are young; this is basically a chairs spot where it is similar to a sandwich where you put one steel chair on the ground that wrestler/individual in the middle and use another steel chair to bash the individuals head in or on some research because I couldn't remember how to spell this chair spot you can also do it standing up as well involving three people/wrestlers two wrestlers holding steel chairs and simultaneously hitting another individual upside the head on both sides and this chairs.] But as it relates to this pay-per-view at the top of the stage or somewhere around here Ripley on the mic gives Edge the ultimatum he agrees to say the words "I Quit" to save his wife, but Ripley still gives Dominik the go-ahead or it depends how dark they want to get in this section; they could always put Edge being held down by Bálor and Priest in the ring whilst Ripley and Dominik set up this situation with Phoenix in the ring next to Edge face-to-face husband-and-wife or something like that they give him the ultimatum he says "I Quit" but they still holding down and watch his wife getting her bashed in by Dominik, to move on the storyline and give us Edge vs. The Judgement Day's Dominik or hopefully a mixed tag team match with this husband-and-wife vs. The Judgement Day’s Ripley & Dominik at some point down the line or sooner rather than later.

Damage Control's Bayley [with her other stable mates the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions; Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky] vs. the WWE Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair with [Alexa Bliss & Asuka;] Ladder Match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship: my pick is Damage Control's Bayley. Straight off the bat yes I am aware that these individuals could come out separately like in the previous match/match slot, but I would prefer them to take my approach just based on it would be something different from the previous match or wherever it is on the card and also this is one of those occasions where everyone including the hierarchy of this company, the audience and the viewers at home know this is going to happen, so let's just make "I have got this" moments, basically let's give everyone some credit here and just go with it straight off the bat. I have no doubt this is going to be fun, but it is just a clearer exercise of protecting Belair from being pinned, remaining looking strong and putting the championship on Bayley so this trio all hold championships at this point in time which is an excellent way to go, unless the new hierarchy of this wrestling promotion change their mind again [yes I am making reference to The Bloodline and Solo Sikoa and is very first title run as the NXT North American Champion lasting 6 days [Tuesday 13/09/2022 -Tuesday 20/09/2022] which let's look on the upside Sikoa now holds the shortest reign of this particular championship, so our things currently stand he has made it into the wrestling history books for now, meaning we know how much the WWF/E like to change their history to fit their narratives.

But I digress; at least this Ladder Match with this championship on the line is/should be lots of fun, is it me or haven't we seen Becky Lynch for while, I know she is injured or has been injured, but for a surprise value don't be too surprised if we see her at this pay-per-view. I should now cover my back by saying I am dictating this on a Monday and I have just seen her name pop up on a social media platform, that is what reminded me of her [when I am dictating this section I haven't looked much into it.]

Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross [with Scarlett;] Strap Match: my pick is Karrion Kross [with Scarlett.] Now on one hand this has all the potential of being another excellent match and I get what the WWE new hierarchy are doing to establish Kross [with Scarlett] to give him a big momentous push they need someone of a big-name to take the fall. But on the other hand why does it have to be McIntyre? I mean it from the perspective of this will be another loss for McIntyre within a short amount of time unless I hope I am so wrong about this they are going to have him go on a downward spiral which it has been speculated that he will take on Tyson Fury at Crown Jewel 2022 [Saturday 05/11/2022,] which if this is the case I can see the dynamic of Fury being the heel by pointing out McIntyre always chokes on the big stage and consequently McIntyre being the face, so there is your dynamic and content for this match.]

Matt Riddle vs. Seth Rollins; Fight Pit Match with Special Guest Referee Daniel Cormier: my pick is Seth Rollins. This match is going to be good, but however they telegraphed be ending of this match, by having Daniel Cormier here, so he is going to clearly assist Rollins here, to potentially set up another attempt of a UFC style match at WWE Crown Jewel 2022 [the last time was WWE Crown Jewel 2019; Cain Velasquez [with Rey Mysterio] vs. the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar [with Paul Heyman;] Singles Match for the WWE Championship. But this time we get Matt Riddle vs. Daniel Comier, there are two points I would like to make this is complete 100% speculation on my part at this time, but you have to question why is he there? Which I have already given you a potential answer and secondly on a side note this was also the last time Tyson Fury was on this card vs. Braun Strowman as well, so they could be after three years roughly recycling this card with these two potential main event matches, before I move on I just want to make this crystal clear this is 100% speculation on my part.

Ronda Rousey vs. Champ Liv Morgan; Extreme Rules Match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship: my pick is Liv Morgan. I smell a debut or return the more I think about it I would say Charlotte Flair to return to spoil things for Rousey. Her reasons are she is still the most dominating wrestler in the WWE so why she reclaim our spot and then go after Morgan, yes I am fully aware even though I have dictated it this she could just go for Morgan, but as Rousey is a Ex-UFC fighter/wrestler Charlotte wants to take her down first which would set up Rousey & Shayna Baszler [Ex-UFC fighter/wrestler] vs. Champ Morgan & Charlotte first.

Let's finish off by talking about The White Rabbit in the room, I see him making his official match come back at Survivor Series 2022/Survivor Series WarGames 2022 [Saturday 05/11/2022,] I have chosen here because it is or it should be one of the biggest pay-per-view/premium live event of the year and not forgetting this very interesting yet historic little wrinkle, if they did this it would well and truly indicate what present and indeed future Bray Wyatt has within the WWE, to be given a similar restart in this case to The Undertaker debut WWF/WWE Survivor Series Thursday 22/11/1990.

I have to say I find it amusing that we have Rollins now coming out in one way or another saying Wyatt is difficult to work with. If this is true or not I can see why Wyatt would be alleged to be difficult to work with, he is a wrestler and on top of that he is a very creative wrestler and let's not forget since his debut as Bray Wyatt in 2012 in any form after he has been pumping out gold for the WWE yet slowly but surely they have turned his creation/creations into a former shall of what they once were. So I can completely understand if he is or isn't difficult to work with by now. I was wondering if they were ever going to pass the torch from The Undertaker to Bray Wyatt, I mean they had an opportunity/privilege/great honour to do WrestleMania 31/2015; Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker Singles Match, but the WWE hierarchy at the time Mr McMahon screwed up this opportunity a year earlier which in all rights should have been Wyatt's as in passing the torch, he gave it to Brock Lesnar to break The Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania 30/2014, which was a complete waste of an occasion, it doesn't nothing for anybody at least the fans would have been happy with Wyatt going over. So here and now or here and now and the future I would try and organically treat Bray Wyatt as not The Undertaker, because there is only one of him, but give Bray Wyatt the tools to create his vision and if he has to lose at least make it look something feasible unlike losing the WWE Universal Championship to Goldberg at WWE Super Showdown 2020 as "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt, this was completely and utterly garbage so if the new regime treat Bray Wyatt as a big thing, their Universe will respond by higher viewing numbers, it's like their fan base and indeed the rest of the wrestling industry has known for quite a few years that Bray Wyatt is a gigantic asset to any company, yet the previous regime had no clue or even the smallest idea how to use or and I mean this in the right way deal with Bray Wyatt the wrestler and artist about his creations and on a quick side note I have just seen Charlotte Flair's name appear on a social media platform I haven't read much into it as of this content [as I began dictating this on Monday 03/10/2022.]
