Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects

Match/Stipulation: The Cuban Assassin vs. "The Wildfire" Tommy Rich: Singles Match

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 3/10

Match Storyline: 3/10

Crowd Participation: 2/10

On Commentary: Jim Ross & Bob Caudle 6/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 4/10

Recommend Watch: 1/10

Match Total: 19/60 - this match is poor

Comments: well simply put; I know I have put 4/10 in the satisfying conclusion category, this is meant to imply " I am glad that is over with as it roughly goes on for less than 9 minutes." You have to respect this audience in attendance, it's like someone must have sent a fax [this is a piece of technology before mobile telephones, I know a world without mobile telephones is difficult to imagine, but at one point this was the case.] But I digress; someone must have sent a fax around that this match/match slot was going to be either uninspiring or completely missable as there was like 95% no crowd participation other than when Assassin lands on the top turnbuckle after Rich shakes it, to stop him from coming off it interfere, negative participation of boring or something from this area of expression, but I decided to award another mark on to their crowd participation category, because it came across as slightly comical when there is a tiny cheer grown thing going on when this match/match slot comes to an end and as I have already highlighted I feel their pain, just wanting to get through this section of this pay-per-view. In fairness and balance for those people that have been watching wrestling for quite a few years, there is an argument, a small argument that after giving an average of over 90% of energy so far in the two previous matches/match slots, they could have been burned out a little or I am leaning more towards why would they waste their energy here, rest up possibly go and get re-energised and make yourself comfortable you know one of these things, but we will only know this when we get into the next match.

In the ring Rich performs this sunset flip pin from outside on the apron to in and it looks clunky at best; Ross indicates as much on commentary as he says "I don't think he gets all of it" or to cover my back it is something to this effect.

Basic Result: "The Wildfire" Tommy Rich pick up the win

Briefly things to know:

* Replay of the closing stages with the winner's entrance music playing

* Gordon Solie: Interviewer the NWA World Tag Team Champions The Fabulous Freebirds; Michael Hayes & Jimmy  Garvin about their upcoming match next; yes it wasn't lost on me that Chris Cruise said it was his job to interview the wrestlers before they go out and have their match and yes I know both interviewers can do it, but Cruise specifically mentioned it in his opening section.

* "The World's Most Dangerous Announcer" Gary Michael Cappetta: Ring announcer introduces the stipulations for the next matchAnd then hands things over to Jim Cornett so he can introduce his team at this time

* Jim Cornett: Introduces The Dynamic Dudes of Shane Douglas & Johnny Aces. [On a quick side note if you want to look for something funny a little before this as this tag team is getting into the ring] Aces has chosen one lucky fan  gets brought over the guard rail to get given this cap and to have this photo opportunity with this tag team, Ace starts posing, but the problem is it is to the wrong camera, so it takes Douglas to point this out as he points to the right camera for the child and Aces Two pose at the right camera whilst Douglas is getting into the ring and may I just say this is very funny, because Aces A.k.a.John Laurinatis doesn't break a smile or anything, even when he was younger he was just acting like An much older John Laurinatis as in no charisma or no dynamic behaviour as his tag team name would suggest, then he puts the child behind the guard rails and picks his skateboard up and heads into the ring; yes if you ever wanted to know what Laurinatis Would look like with a skateboard, this will answer your question.

* "The World's Most Dangerous Announcer" Gary Michael Cappetta: Ring announcer introduces The NWA World Tag team Champions The Fabulous Freebirds; Michael PS Hayes & Jimmy Garvin
