In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW All Out 2022 by AverageMansReviews
Buy-In: Kip Sabian vs. Champ Death
Triangle's PAC; Singles Match for the AEW All-Atlantic Championship: my pick is Death Triangle's PAC. I know this is Sabian's
first match back in a long time after injury, but having said this; this match
feels like an actual feud begin, so let's just see what happens after this
match, but these two performers would benefit from having a feud over this
championship
Buy-In:
The Jericho Appreciation Society's Angelo Parker [with Matt Menard] vs. Champ
Hook; Singles Match for the FTW Championship: my pick is Hook. Likewise everyone here would benefit
from a feud over this championship which is not recognised by any promotion.
Buy-In: Tomohiro Ishii vs. Eddie
Kingston; Singles Match: my
pick is Eddie Kingston. Why not begin this night [yes I know it isn't
officially a part of this pay-per-view,] but why not begin things as they mean
to go on with a highly competitive contest between two rams butting heads. Yes
they will probably go with Kingston to pick up the win here, but what I have
seen of Ishii which is a grain of salt, basically on AEW UK TV programming he
is hard as nails so either competitor winning here is not a bad loss.
Dante
Martin vs. The Blackpool Combat Club's the ROH Champion Claudio Castagnoli &/vs. the ROH Pure
Champion Wheeler Yuta [with William Regal] vs. Death Triangle's Lucha Brothers:
Penta El Zero Miedo &/vs. Rey Fénix [with Alex Abrahantes] vs. La Facción
Ingobernable: Andrade El Idolo &/vs. Rush [with José the Assistant] vs.
Joker; Casino Ladder Match Winner receives a future AEW World Championship
Match: my pick is Joker. Whomever it will
end up being, they will probably want to slip this individual in or around CM
Punk and Jon Moxley whomever is the AEW World Champion after this pay-per-view,
because whatever the outcome I don't see this feud ending here so Tony Kahn,
may want to just add another cog into this feud. It has just come to me the
Joker; is MJF isn't it? Actually the more I am thinking about it now, the more
it makes sense, because it has been reported this individual will be returning
to the company very soon and how much I am not a fan of this individual, it
would put him in the right position on a big stage for a return and potential
championship run. But if he gets his opportunity with the AEW World
Championship I want him to prove me wrong and show me his value, his true
value. I am not backtracking on anything negative I have said about this
individual because I can see his value and talents, but his out of ring,
backstage antics or anything other if it is true works against him. Just to
cover my back if any other established performer does any backstage antics or
other the wrestling promoter may be willing to put up with a little bit of it,
based on the individual brings value and yes I know MJF brings value, but he
hasn't held the big championship yet.
Athena
vs. Champ Jade Cargill [with Baddie Keira Hogan & Unofficial Baddie Leila Grey with Stokely Hathaway;] Singles
Match for the AEW TBS Championship: my
pick is Jade Cargill. This is speculation on my part, but probably more closer
to the truth that this match was originally going to be Kris Statlander in this
championship match instead of Athena, so in this case it is and this is going
on the theory that I am correct in this case it is just AEW making lemonade out
of lemons. So with that being said if it was the original plans I would Cargill
50% of retaining, but as things are I would give her a 75% chance of retaining,
it just feels like I smell a potential return Red Velvet [once again
speculation on my part] or a debut or something so we can have a dusty finish
to keep the championship on Cargill. Let's be positive this match layout should
be of a clash of the titans with on a different night without the interference
of Athena could and should have won.
Ruby
Soho & Ortiz vs. Champs the Jericho Appreciation Society's Tay Melo &
Sammy Guevara [with Anna Jay AS;] Mixed Tag Team Match for the AAA World Mixed
Tag Team Championship: my pick is the
Jericho Appreciation Society's Tay Melo & Sammy Guevara [with Anna Jay AS.]
It is going to be a reliable AS interference to retain these Championships.
House
of Black: Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews [with Julia Hart] vs.
Darby Allin, Sting & Miro; Six-Man Tag Team Match: my pick is House of Black: Malakai Black, Brody King &
Buddy Matthews [with Julia Hart.] Just based on the ongoing storyline arc so
Miro takes the pin thanks to interference from Hart. So the person Miro has
been making reference to/foreshadowing for some time now appears [speculation:
it should be his real life wife CJ Perry, just based on everything he has
referenced in his segments] to take on Black & Hart at some point down the
line, which after this feud I would expect AEW to push this husband-and-wife
intermittently [he could show up at anytime and anywhere] heading towards
eventually the AEW World Championship, so even though Miro takes the loss here
after this I don't see him losing for the foreseeable future at the very least.
Ricky
Starks vs. Powerhouse Hobbs; Singles Match: my pick is Powerhouse Hobbs. Just because I think there is
more to come from this feud so to feed the flames of it logically speaking
Hobbs is going over here.
Jungle
Boy [with his tag team partner of Jurassic Express; Luchasaurus] vs. Christian
Cage; Singles Match: my pick is
Christian Cage. Unfortunately I can see the end of Jurassic Express for now
[you never know what the future holds] as Boy looks to have the W. Luchasaurus
turns on him and on the following week of Dynamite Cage could and probably will
come out and say something to the effect of "That was our plan all along,
I out thought you Jungle Boy." I can suggest this with quiet confidence
based on the fact at least 75% of Luchasaurus still looks and sounds by his
entrance music as a heel, so my thinking is; if you look and sound like a heel
to a certain extent, then you are a heel.
The
Acclaimed [Anthony Bowens & Max Caster] vs. Champs Swerve In Our Glory
[Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland:] my
pick is Swerve In Our Glory [Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland.] On one hand I
really like this match, it should be an excellent match and it should
definitely have an at this pay-per-view. But on the other hand I really don't
like this match, because it just feels like the current champions here are just
getting into their swing of their reign as champions and I have no doubt at
some point The Acclaimed will be AEW Tag Team Champions at some point not too
distant into the future, let's see if you can pick up on the sarcasm here, it
is almost like somebody [Tony Kahn] took too long to pull the trigger on making
Swerve In Our Glory Tag Team Champions, I mean if he had done this earlier we
could have had the championships being dropped here, but as things are the only
way I can see TK getting out of this one is about this match to be excellent
which it should be and will be, but don't be too surprised if we have another
dusty finish of having interference from The Gun Club [Angus & Colten
Gunn;] to continue this feud with The Acclaimed, but the champions will now get
dragged into this feud; but either way of the outcome of this match I am going
to be happy, yet disappointed.
The
Blackpool Combat Club 's Bryan Danielson vs. the Jericho Appreciation Society's
Chris Jericho; Singles Match: my
pick is Bryan Danielson. This match is not even about these two competitors, it
is about Daniel Garcia, towards the closing stages of this match he will come
down to assist one of these competitors, will he choose to remain a Sports
Entertainer with J.A.S. or be a Wrestler with T.B.C.C.?
Toni
Storm vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. [with Rebel & Jamie Hayter] vs. Jamie
Hayter vs. Hikaru Shida; Four-way Match for the Interim AEW Women's World
Championship: my pick is Toni Storm. Full
disclosure before I began dictating this match I didn't see online briefly that
she was now favourite to pick up this championship. I really want them to do
something with Hayter, either put the championship on her or my second option
is to have this implosion angle with Baker because I want Hayter to cost Baker
another reign with this championship with Hayter eventually going her own way
after this feud with Baker.
Jay Lethal
[with Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh] & The Motor City Machine Guns [Chris
Sabin & Alex Shelley] vs. the AEW TNT Champion Wardlow & the ROH World
Tag Team Champions, the AAA Tag Team Champions and IWGP Tag Team Champions FTR
[Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood;] Six-Man Tag Team Match: my pick is the AEW TNT Champion Wardlow & the ROH
World Tag Team Champions, the AAA Tag Team Champions and IWGP Tag Team
Champions FTR [Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood.] I can't be the only one thinking
AEW missed a golden opportunity here I know they would have to talk with these
wrestler's promotions that they are under contract with [100% speculation here;
unless they tried and they couldn't get it done for any reason,] but putting
that to one side for a minute. They really should have put this stipulation in
place where if Lethal picks up the win for his team he gets another AEW TNT
Championship, if one of The Motor City Machine Guns pick up the W. they get a
ROH World Championship opportunity, but if the other trio win they get name a
stipulation they would like to have with Lethal vs. Wardlow or The Motor City
Machine Guns vs. FDR.
The
Elite: Kenny Omega [with Don Callis] & The Young Bucks [Matt & Nick
Jackson;] vs. The Dark Order's Alex Reynolds & John Silver,
"Hangman" Adam Page; Tournament Final for the Inaugural AEW World
Trios Championship: my pick is The
Elite Kenny Omega [with Don Callis] & The Young Bucks [Matt & Nick
Jackson. Full disclosure this outcome has been speculated/indicated for some
time. I can see Page taking the lost, consequently The Dark Order taking their
frustration out on him, consequently The Elite, return to the ring to save him.
I am not turning The Dark Order heels, but I am re-energising them. Because as
far as I'm concerned this faction has been a sleeping giant for some time,
because of their history as in being a cornerstone even at their early history
of AEW, their fan base will not accept as heels, but they will will accept a
refocused The Dark Order with potentially new " Join The Dark Order"
content with eventually two new members being elevated one man and one woman
and let's be honest if this all happens or something to this effect and let's
be honest this would be a fantastic first feud for these championships as
everyone here is a cornerstone of AEW.
CM Punk
vs. Champ The Blackpool Combat Club's Jon Moxley; Singles Match for the AEW
World Championship: my pick is CM
Punk. Based on the segment of what I have seen online of AEW: Dynamite
[Wednesday 31/08/2022] Punk has been renewed and stronger fire burning within
him, this pay-per-view taking place in Chicago [in Punk's backyard] and I
suspect if I am correct about the MJF situation on this card or if I am not MJF
will appear here to assist Punk with picking up this championship [MJF's motivation
is obviously self-serving as he has recent history with Punk, consequently
protecting/infuriating Moxley] to either set up a singles match for this
championship between MJF vs. Punk or an outstanding trios match between MJF vs.
Moxley vs. Punk at AEW Full Gear 2022, which I should just point out this is
entirely speculation, but also if I am anywhere near right about this? This is
where I would be open to giving MJF this championship, if I was Tony Kahn, but
it also depends if MJF calms down his antics once again if this was true or not
in the first place and if I was Tony I would be thinking or saying to MJF
"If you play ball with me, I will play ball with you I will give you our
main championship and when it is time to sit down and discuss your contract I
will put you in the highest bracket of our contracts."
