DC's Batwoman [Season 3,] Episode 40: Loose Tooth by AverageMansReviews
Review Time:
5 things about this episode
Warning: there is flashing/other effects/feeling/transformation/electrocution
I genuinely feel like I am going around and
around in circles here: Storyline Character
[Character developments,] Comedy and Action these all combined in one way or
another; what am I meant to do with this? We just have the same problems time
after time from the First to this Third and Final Season; why oh why do they
continuously try to go with the narrative that Beth Kane/Alice is this bad
person? Granted she does bad things, which in some cases are unacceptable but
however they either make sense or from her life experience makes sense as she
will show in this episode at a point [I should point out; I don't condone
everything she does.] But because we have been with her from day one of this TV
program it makes everything feel natural such as empathising with her on top of
that she is comical in this episode as well so in a strange way she is
endearing. Beth Kane/Alice seems to be the only one with a sense of humour; in
short Montoya is laying down the ground rules to her being released into Wilder
or/and Wilder/Batwoman responsibility " Yes. Does this wreck my
ensemble?" [Referring to ankle tag] and then later on we have her doing
combat with Fox/Batwing.
This episode receives: 6/10, this episode is good; but the big problems with this episode
and potentially this season is they are trying to manufacture character
developments/on-screen chemistry between other characters which I either don't
care for or they are just very generic [I am just trying not to break my 3 to 5
things about one episode, but also explaining my reasoning for this episode
marking] and yes I will probably cover these character developments/on-screen
chemistry at one point or another, I just can't do it here and now.
