DC's Batwoman [Season 2,] Episode 33: I'll Give You a Clue by AverageMansReviews

4 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/other effects/drugs/torture/flesh/stabbing

The eyes behold the truth: Storyline, Characters [Character developments] and Art; combined at some point; Alice is working her levels of perfection on this flesh as she has been kidnapped by Roman Sionis/Black Mask's daughter Circe Sionis or she believes she is, after some torture Alice offers Roman Sionis/Black Mask to make a new face for Circe as her face is hidden behind this white mask, because she believes her father rescued her from being trampled on at Arkham Asylum [on a little bit of research/looking back over previous episodes, because I could remember something but I couldn't remember too much detail, so I believe this is in reference to DC's Batwoman [Season 1,] Episode 19: A Secret Kept from All the Rest.

But as we discover she has already died once at Arkham Asylum and if anyone should know Alice would know, because she was one of the people trampling on her body as she walked out the door [I should quickly point out we don't see this in Episode 19 but let's just say Arkham Asylum is going to need more than a lick of paint to get it up and running again,] so on attaching this new flesh mask Alice knows the identity of this individual straightaway as she says "You, have you... your eyes. You have our father’s eyes. Kate." It is important to note here that Alice instantaneously merges as Beth Kane and Alice has she is clearly shocked. I know I have said something to this effect already, but Beth Kane/Alice is a multilayered character which A. I hope they don't kill her off in the final episode of this TV program, this is just a feeling I have and B. They need to keep her in the Arrowversus in some capacity, because if they want more female characters in this Universe because of her in-depth personality and all-round presence she could fit in anywhere and on top of that she has this unpredictable nature you never know what you're going to get with her.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good: as you can see this is another good episode and by my calculations this would be the seventh episode in a row which would be receiving a positive mark.

4 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/other effects/drugs

Alice & Wilder/Batwoman vs. Some members of The False Face Society: Comedy, Character [Character developments] and Action combined here in one way or another; in short these two characters are sitting outside this location in the Batmobile to begin this rescue operation for Ocean and Martin; this is an excerpt; Wilder/Batwoman gives Alice this job to attract draw out Sionis/Black Mask so she can take him out with these words at the end of "Do you think you can handle that? Alice:" Sure" with this facial expression of a slight bit of mischief as an idea enters her mind as a split-second after saying Sure. She just leans over and presses on the Batmobile horn. Wilder/Batwoman has a shocked look on her face and is far from happy as she simultaneously quickly pulls Alice's hand away with her looking at Alice "What the hell are you doing?" Alice: "What you asked. Wilder/Batwoman: "I told you to draw him out, not draw him to us." Alice: And I delivered. Your turn, lover girl." [As Alice exits the Batmobile followed by Wilder/Batwoman] as they go to confront the oncoming members of The False Face Society and yes this rumble is good and lively whenever it is on screen.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; it does progressing nicely and like its previous episode it does have much going on.

DC's Batwoman [Season 2,] Episode 31: Arrive Alive by AverageMansReviews

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/other effects/drugs/stabbing

Alice has a unscheduled session with Dr. Evelyn Rhyme/Enigma: we have Comedy, Action, Character [Character developments] and Art combining at one point or another: so we begin with Alice looking for any information in Dr. Evelyn Rhyme/Enigma's Office/Therapy Room, we meet a new client of Dr. Rhyme's his name is Jackson as he walks in; he thinks she is Dr. Rhyme; so in short Alice just goes with that as she goes from looking for information in Dr. Evelyn Rhyme/Enigma's Office/Therapy Room to impersonating Dr. Rhyme, but with Alice still being Alice.

But that is until Dr. Evelyn Rhyme/Enigma walks in to her Office/Therapy Room and says " I am so sorry I am running late, what is going on here?" With Alice instantly taken care of Jackson. Alice:"Mmm. Lost cause I have saved you the headache Enigma."

Character [Character developments] and Art; Alice wants Dr. Evelyn Rhyme/Enigma to erase components of her memory which will drastically change her as a person. The viewers see inside Alice's head as she confronts individually or together her twin sister [young Kate Kane] or Beth Kane/Alice's only love interest [Ocean.] For an example the viewers get to see inside Alice's head/it is like a Quantum Leap [1989-1993 TV reference,  where Alice goes inside her head and on getting their she is in this moving car with this young Kate Kane taking this Polaroid picture as they are talking about things; young Kate Kane hands her sister this picture which shows Alice as the younger Beth Kane with her twin sister smiling and being happy.

This episode receives: 10/10, this episode is lots of fun: there is so much happening in this episode

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Extreme Rules 2021 by AverageMansReviews

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Extreme Rules 2021 by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up: these matches may be in the wrong order and I have only been up-to-date on a grain of salt of content. If I say this here and now, I don't have to keep repeating myself on these individual matches as it relates to the stipulations involving Championships, so let's be positive to begin with on one hand these matches on this card look good. But on the other hand they can also be seen as boring, because I just can't see them changing hands in the slightest so what I am suggesting here is this; this pay-per-view in essence is just a holding pay-per-view for even the WWE 2021 Draft [Friday's SmackDown 01/10/2021 - Monday's Raw 04/10/2021] or the glorified house show WWE Crown Jewel 2021 [Thursday 21/10/2021; Lesnar vs. WWE the Universal Champion Reigns [with Heyman: Singles Match; just to cover my back as things stand at this point; Wednesday 22/09/2021, so with a 99.9% certainty the stipulation for the WWE Universal Championship will be added to this match between now and then and on a very quick side note; as it relates to this match as far as I'm concerned this is a lose; lose situation regardless of the result of this match; we have the choice between Lesnar  which he doesn't show up and holds any top Main Roster Championship hostage or Reigns is currently on as of Wednesday the date I have just mentioned is currently standing on 387 days long and as of Friday 24/09/2021, I will go on record right here and right now and say unfortunately I can see us going through another Lesnar Championship run, I mean now taking two seconds to think about it; it would be the best and quickest way to protect Reigns if Heyman stabs him in the back and ends this current WWE Universal Championship, take it off Reigns and consequently turns him into the model of ant-hero [not Babyface, but not Heel either and the same can go for the rest of The Bloodline; The Usos Jey & Jimmy Uso.]

Liv Morgan vs. Carmella; Singles Match: my pick is Liv Morgan. I would prefer to give her a push or a little push so she could maybe go on to something better later on.

The Street Profits [Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford] vs. the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos [Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso:] Tag Team Match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship: my pick is The Usos [Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso.]

"The Demon" Finn Bálor vs. the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns [with Paul Heyman;] Extreme Rules Match for the WWE Universal Championship: my pick is Roman Reigns. The WWE hierarchy are putting "The Demon" Finn Bálor character right under the bus here, yes I can see what they have tried to do by using the stipulation of a Extreme Rules Match, they are trying to limit the damage to this character, but the best way to protect him is by not using him and just have Finn Bálor, I know if they did this it would indicate he isn't winning here but in fairness and balance they have already indicated he isn't winning here anyway  what with the WWE Crown jewel 2021 situation as in Lesnar isn't going to do or get out of bed if he doesn't get well paid or a situation he likes so yes the WWE Universal Championship will be on the line and on top of that it isn't like Reigns' needs the rub of "The Demon" I mean I know what narrative they have gone with here where Bálor needs to call on his inner Demon to overcome this situation to hopefully recapture his WWE Universal Championship which he never lost in the first place. This narrative is good; something safe and reliable, but it may really of helped the situation if they didn't tell us already he just isn't winning back his Championship or a even this match at this pay-per-view; basically this is a pointless exercise and nothing positive can come out of this situation as I have already made reference to in this blog and one point or another and after this match expect Lesnar to show up again to continue towards their match at WWE Crown Jewel 2021.

Alexa Bliss [with Lily] vs. the WWE Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair; Singles Match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship: my pick is stoppage due to supernatural/spooky outcome; they will try to protect everyone involved in this match, so I can see them doing something spooky orSupernatural or something like these, but in essence Charlotte will remain as WWE Raw Women's Champion

Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus vs. the WWE United States Champion Damian Priest; Triple Threat Match: my pick Damian Priest.

Bianca Belair vs. the WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch; Single Match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship: my pick is Becky Lynch. Well why not finish off derailing the Belair. This is why I have much more faith and patience with AEW as it relates to knowing when and how to put over veterans, current talent or future talent and just for the record I have nothing against NXT other than its reality TV competition era; I mean it was okay but it quickly became stale And I have just remembered I am not too keen on the cosmetic look of NXT  or better known as NXT 2.0, what can I say I like the gold and black and what it stands for; which is a golden standard of an all-round product and it stands head and shoulders by billions and billions of miles above anything else which is under or in the WWE Universe and if I wanted to do look at something like Splatoon I would play the videogame, but other than that we have a 98% of coolness, full disclosure my opinion is based on reputation and what I have seen online I have very little time to watch it, just based on time and no lack of it. I am pretty sure I have made this point already, but I will say it again or either way I find myself saying it again, what is the point of NXT working on the present and future stars, if a very high percentage of them get used or treated in a similar fashion to progress to the next stage either in their careers on-screen characters? I mean once again this is what AEW do; and see how well it works over there, but it should be incredibly easier for the WWE to do this because of their manufacturing system and resources.

DC's Batwoman [Season 2,] Episode 30: Time Off for Good Behavior by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

4 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/other effects/drugs/medical/shooting

Colonet Jacob Kane: Storyline, Character [Character developments] these two line components combined; I mean minus what we already know about him; he has been neglected as an individual character, but that is until now we have some real in-depth character development out of this character; when every he discusses things with Dr. Evelyn Rhyme/Enigma.

Dana Dewitt reporter and her crew for Gotham 8 News: Comedy and Action; momentarily combining here; this news channel shows up just about the right time to capture Wilder/Batwoman putting foot to posterior as she is systematically taking down another manufacturer and distribution site of the highly addictive drug known as SnakeBite ran by The False Face Society and its leader Outerbridge/Black Mask. The comedy is where Dewitt is reporting on this event; this is just an excerpt "This is reporting live on the scene with breaking news [background sound effect The False Face Society's henchmen falling and coming into camera shot and landing hard on their van [camera shot of this TV episode has a close-up of this henchmen] and then we quickly go back to Dewitt looking surprised, looking down the camera mixed with instantaneously keeping it together and being professional and comical at the same time she continues "And breaking bones as Batwoman has taken the fight to The False Face Society."

This episode receives: 7/10: this episode is good; it is good to see and experience this Second Season stabilise on a positive level, I am just hoping they can keep it going for as long as possible.

DC's Batwoman [Season 2,] Episode 29: Rule #1 by AverageMansReviews

DC's Batwoman [Season 2,] Episode 29: Rule #1  by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/other effects/character left to bleed out/sawing of life character/face scarring

Alice is not dealing with reality:  Storyline, Action, Art and Character [Character developments:] all these components combined here; we see Alice and a young Kate Kane come to this place to dig up Alice's dead cat/kitten here which is very much alive and very, very cute and how Alice interacts with this kitten from the beginning to end; as in short Alice and this young Kate Kane discuss her process of dealing with real life or not and her mind is limitless.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; it does have lots happening, but in one way or another it does slip in scenes of; how on the main this TV program used to be like before the previous episode.

DC's Batwoman [Season 2,] Episode 28: Survived Much Worse by AverageMansReviews

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/other effects/under face/stabbing

Ryan Wilder or Ryan Wilder/Batwoman gets a hard reboot: we have Storyline, Characters [Character developments] Action and Art: these all combined in one way or another. Storyline and Characters [Character developments;]  so this is a strange episode, because at the beginning it continues from the previous episode, the viewers get the standard things from Wilder or Wilder/Batwoman. It takes her literally jumping out of this cargo plane to slowly going through more of this personality metamorphosis; there is more depth shown in this one episode then all the previous episodes in this season.

The Action and Art; Ryan Wilder/Batwoman jumps out of this cargo plane, with the appropriate gear on, control freefalls, her visor comes down over her eyes, instantly sending the schematics of Coryana Which has got this high-tech satellite system in place so it cannot be detected or usually not detected to the Batcave; Fox [which they are communicating over coms] and Hamilton [under the instructions of Fox dropping some EMPs [Electromagnetic Pulses, everyone that lives on this island uses these wrist things so they are not also detected; so Wilder/Batwoman can go when and get Colonet Jacob Kane,Kate Kane and Agent More,] whilst pull her parachute cord the only thing that looks very poor about this sequence is when Wilder/Batwoman makes her exit/jumps from this cargo plane. This is nothing on her in the slightest, I am just talking about the green screen effects here; it just looks very poor as in from the perspective of it takes you out of the moment as you can clearly pick up on the green screen and then she lands safely and unhooks her parachute and oxygen apparatus.

This episode receives: 10/10, this episode is lots of fun; yes so far I have been heavily negative about this Second Season, but however if you have been with me long enough you should know or should know by now that I am reasonable, fair and balanced, so as they have given their lead character a hard reboot here, if I was them I really wouldn't waste this opportunity and for here and now yes this episode gets better and better all the way around with many different things happening, so it is very deserving of receiving full marks here.

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WCW: Hog Wild 10/08/1996 Match 3/Part 3 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WCW: Hog Wild 10/08/1996 Match 3/Part 3 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Disclaimer: I have never been or are likely to be a professional wrestler.

Background information: after this match; in a nutshell Schiavone  promotes you can talk to the WCW stars CompuServe [Internet] and the Steiner Bros [Scott and Rick Steiner; I have put their names in seating order - we see them in this little hut on these laptops messing around on them; with comments from Heenan them in this situation.]

Match/Stipulation: Bull Nakano [with Sonny Onoo] vs. Medusa: Battle of the Bikes [the winner of this match gets to take a sledgehammer to their opponent’s motorcycle.]

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 7/10

Match Storyline: 7/10

Crowd Participation: 10/10

On Commentary: "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan 7/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 6/10

Recommend Watch: 6/10

Match Total: 43/60 - this match is good

Comments: this match was good, the crowd were into it, okay they used the old-fashioned foreigners Heel heat routine; Bull Nakano [with Sonny Onoo] from Japan including a Honda a motorcycle made in Japan with likewise Medusa Babyface American, interests in motorcycles, driving a Harley Davidson made in the United States of America, but it worked. On a quick side note and yes speculation mixed in with observation. I don't think Nakano had/has a motorcycle license or possibly a US one, just based on the fact that Onoo drove her motorcycle, whilst she is walking to the ring behind him. Yes indeed this match/stipulation is to fit in with this pay-per-view theme of Motorcycles/Sturges Motorcycle Rally. Generally speaking this match is good wrestling.

But now on to the slight botch; there is a hurricanrana with pinning combination being performed by Medusa that it looks like she gets too much rotation on it and the pinning combination slightly/noticeably collapses.

The pinning; confusion about the pin; [this is just an exert, because there is a lot from beginning to end of this situation' so we start here;] Schiavone: "You think - I don't know if we can back in our video truck if we can take a look, how that match ended again I thought Medusa got her shoulder up. [Rhodes;"Yeah."] Schiavone continues; "I'm being told we cannot." With Rhodes: "Yeah, yeah you both did." Schiavone: " apparently Medusa did but Bull Nakano did not Rhodes: Medusa got her shoulders up Bull Nakano did--the bottom line. Medusa is the winner, then a bashing on the bike ride here and a trashing on the bike." But I should point out as it relates to watching replays; remember it was perfectly fine in our first match; The Ultimate Dragon [with Sonny Onoo] vs. the WCW World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Misterio, Jr.: Singles Match for the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship; Heenan recalling the closing stages of this match over a replay[ yes I replayed this many times myself, somehow I got it wrong the first five or six times, I don’t know how because watching it again it is so clear what happens can’t believe it took me that long over two days  to see what happens, but as long as I got it all right in the end, that is all what matters.

Whilst they are discussing this; Medusa is taking a sledgehammer to this motorcycle. I'm not criticising here, but she is giving it everything With this sledgehammer, but things are not going according to plan, this Honda seems to be well built; it is a good commercial/advertisement for Honda as in " Honda; we build motorcycles that can withstand sledgehammers." I mean they could have behind the scenes before this match told her  We have set a weak point here, we have decided so that Onoo can still drive it on a short trip to the ringside area, but if you aim the sledgehammer here it will be fine." I just want to clarify I'm not saying anything to the effect of " she is weak or a vulnerable woman, in fact I would be saying exactly the same if she was a man." But I am saying in fairness and balance they most definitely left her high and dry here." Likewise from the previous match this match went on for a roughly over five minutes, but to leave this match/match slot I really can't praise the crowd participation throughout this; they were behind it from beginning to end.

Basic Result: I know I have already told you the result, but I am a stickler for admin, so Medusa picks up the W. here

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WCW: Hog Wild 10/08/1996 Match 2/Part 2 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Background information/Warning: after this match; Schiavone in short sets us up the viewers to watch the abbreviated version of The Four Horsemen's Ric Flair interview;  there are flesh/colourful effects in this interview video with Flair [the questions are fully on-screen on top of a background, the background moving imagery will fit in with the question; before he answers them;] where I am paraphrasing here The Four Horsemen are siding with WCW against the N.W.O after what they did to another member of The Four Horsemen's Arn Anderson [we get stills of their friendship, The Four Horsemen and Anderson laying on the floor, Medical people and other people around him then being put into an ambulance.]

After that we come back to Schiavone; he talks about Flair and again they promote/advertise Sturgis Motorcycle Rally with Heenan and Rhode; then we get a commercial/advertisement for merchandise relating to this pay-per-view with voice over and featuring Jimmy Hart..

Match/Stipulation: Scott "Flash" Norton vs. Ice Train: Singles Match

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 7/10

Match Storyline: 7/10

Crowd Participation: 6/10

On Commentary: "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan 8/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 7/10

Recommend Watch: 6/10

Match Total: 41/60 - this match is good

Comments: this match is what it is from beginning to end; there isn't anything wrong with it, but it just goes on for roughly over five minutes and because we have two well built competitors in this match, it follows the style of smash mouth wrestling with limited time, because of everything I have said in this paragraph; it makes this match harmless to this pay-per-view as a whole, even the sudden conclusion of this match makes sense, so I can't criticise it.

Basic Result: Scott "Flash" Norton picks up the W.

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WCW: Hog Wild 10/08/1996 Match 1/Part 1 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Chosen by: Me: just because why not, because WCW Bash at the Beach 16/07/1995; generally speaking because this was positively entertaining, I would go for another WCW pay-per-view.

Disclaimer: I have never been or are likely to be a professional wrestler.

Background information: to begin this pay-per-view we have voice-over by Tony Schiavone; a little bit about Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, since 1938 the motorcycle rally of the world [yes we are outside again for this pay-per-view, but this time instead of the beach we have motorcycles.] Then we have Tony Schiavone in the middle of "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes on the right hand Bobby "The Brain" Heenan on the left [with "Iron" Mike Tenay joining them just before this first match.] But this trio building up The N.W.O's  [“Mr. Hollywood “ Hulk Hogan] vs. the: WCW's the WCW World Heavyweight Champion [Dungeon Of Doom's The Giant with Jimmy Hart:] Singles Match for the WCW Heavyweight Championship and then N.W.O's [The Outsiders Kevin Nash & Scott Hall] taking on WCW's Lex Luger & Sting: Tag Team Match.

After this match; after watching the replay of the closing stages of this match with Heenan recalling it. Schiavone handing things over to Okerlund. [Tenay leaving the commentary area with Schiavone saying "Thanks a lot Mike."  "Mean" Gene Okerlund in short promotes/advertise that they have a hotline with Tenay and himself to discuss this pay-per-view and the world of professional wrestling after this pay-per-view then it gets handed back to Schiavone from Okerlund so he can talk about Sturgis Motorcycle Rally with Heenan and Rhodes.

Match/Stipulations: The Ultimate Dragon [with Sonny Onoo] vs. the WCW World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Misterio, Jr.: Singles Match for the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship.

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 10/10

Match Storyline: 10/10

Crowd Participation: 10/10

On Commentary: "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, Tony Schiavone, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan & "Iron" Mike Tenay 10/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 10/10

Recommend Watch: 10/10

Match Total: 60/60 - this match is top-notch entertainment.

Comments: this match is worth of receiving full marks, because individually or together with who these two competitors are you wouldn't expect anything less and on top of that as this match is/was a Cruiserweight Match in this case specifically for the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship, as everyone should know which is old enough or been around wrestling long enough back in this timeframe the WCW used their Cruiserweight Division two kickoff their pay-per-view's with a lively encounter and atmosphere to engage their audience and to give this pay-per-view in question a positive atmosphere and enthusiasm to build on for the rest of this pay-per-view and once again back in this timeframe it was one of the best Cruiserweight Divisions/Championship around.

There is only one ever so tiny botch; it is where Dragon performs this Upside Down Surfboard or in Mexico it is known as a Rito Romero Special, but as this move is being set up on Misterio [very tiny amount of time, look for the near foot to begin with when the camera shot is on this site, but on the far side when it switches perspectives,] Dragon or Misterio or both of them lose footing on where the foot should be, in a nutshell you are looking for Misterio's leg sticking out somewhere it shouldn't be. But this is how masterful these two wrestlers are at wrestling; Misterio smoothly just turns this into two pin-fall attempts to make this look like a smooth sequence and just to continue this match and to make this very tiny moment a glitch and nothing more.

The quick and general dynamic of our commentary team for this pay-per-view or match as it relates to Tenay"The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes [Babyface,] Tony Schiavone [Linchpin of normalcy/Referee between Rhodes and Heenan; yes  Schiavone makes reference to being the Referee or something to that effect between these two at some point during this first match so I went with it as well,  Bobby "The Brain" Heenan  [Heel] and "Iron" Mike Tenay [The Encyclopaedia of Wrestling;] for an example he told us about this Upside Down Surfboard or in Mexico it is known as a Rito Romero Special, so I can't take credit for it, yes I have seen this move being performed but I couldn't remember it's name and I didn't know about its Mexican name.

Basic Result: the WCW World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Misterio, Jr. Retains his WCW World Cruiserweight Championship here.
