Review Time:
5 things about this episode
Warning: there are flashing/colourful/other effects
Bulk & Skull's
narrative; Who are The Power Rangers?: These two
do a lot for this episode, be it Bulk coming up with the idea of unmask The
Power Rangers on National TV when they are doing this interview or on a comedy
level where for one example Bulk says to Skull "Powder me up I don't want
to glow when I am on camera." Which Skull replies "Okay, look
up." Suddenly this massive circular powder applicator [you will not be
able to miss it; it is that big] and hits Bulk right in the face, so he gets a
face full of powder.
Tommy/The White
Power Ranger with Saba vs. Goldar: this is a good
action sequence.
Sky & the Sun
[individually or together:] all this is great;
when you get to this point, but for one example now we have the Thunder
Megazord doing combat with this monster for this episode after defeating it and
putting the Thunder Saber back in its scabbard; the viewers can see this
top-class image of the Thunder Megazord [side on facing the sun] with this
massive yellow sun [it is the right contrast of yellow for the sun to stand out
in its own right, but it goes hand-in-hand with everything else in this scene
nothing feels out of place every element is strong to stand out, but it is a
contributing segment to this scene like moving on to this orange sky [heavier
orange at the top with this dark tone on top of that and slightly lighter going
down, I should just point out it is still very much orange, I'm just saying
there is a difference no dark tone] with these dark brown cliffs [with the
bottom of the sun is touching them at this point as the sun is setting.]
This episode
receives: 4/10, this episode is mixed; yes absolutely Bulk
& Skull do a lot for this episode, but until the final section or somewhere
around here where it does get much, much better this episode was safely in the
poor section of my marking system, but it escapes that fate roughly around the
final section things wake up basically because of this; "Back to our
regular scheduled programming."
