Review Time:
5 things about this episode
Warning: there are flashing/colourful/other effects in
this episode.
Storyline: it is excellent and it has
lots happening in it.
The new allies become the new Power Rangers: introducing Adam/The Black Power Ranger, Rocky/The Red Power Ranger
and Aisha/The Yellow Power Ranger; this power transfer idea was a great idea;
the entire idea, but based on my viewing experience and I can't hold this
against anyone based on the fact of the backstage politics [so they had to do;
what they had to do.]
But is it
just me or does this power transfer sequence in the Command Center feel
socially awkward as in when the power transfer is done shouldn't the original
Power Rangers of Zack, Jason and Trini be standing there in their civilian
attire and not their Power Rangers costumes, I mean I get it; as in why they
are not, so in fairness and balance I can't see this as a blooper just in case
you are wondering; but as I have said it does feel socially awkward. But moving
on these new Power Rangers have good character developments.
This is how you use a soccer ball: Adam kicks it on to a Z-Putty's self-destruct Z chest button whilst
sitting down tied to a tree in chains with Aisha and Rocky; and then a little
later Rocky, Adam Aisha all take part in this soccer sequence to destroy this
Sleep Machine; both of these action elements are good.
Who's a pretty boy then?: Serpentera is this mechanical Asian Dragon which is enormous and
powerful; he can destroy things with ease as you will see in the previous
episode and this one with this Death Star like intensity red beam that comes
out of his mouth; he has been given the on-screen presence as a big deal and
The Power Rangers need to respect him as an adversary whenever Lord Zedd uses
him; this is absolutely amazing art.
This episode receives: 10/10, this episode is lots of fun; it signifies the end of another chapter
of The Power Rangers, but also the beginning of a new chapter as well.
