Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 2,] Episode 78: White Light: Part II by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there are flashing/colourful/other effects in this episode.

Storyline: it is excellent; it just continues where the previous episode finishes in every sense.

Jason or Jason/The Red Power Ranger gets burned: so this is one of those occasions where in modern language Zordon burns Jason [and you expect someone to either say "Burn" or every character/performer including Alpha 5 to uncomfortably whistle and look in different directions in the Command Center to try and pass this awkward situation or someone to whisper to Jason "You just got burned by Zordon." It isn't a subtle burn either, this new White Power Ranger is the new leader of the Power Rangers and considering the five Power Rangers don't know too much about this situation [yes Billy does some reconnaissance and goes back to tell them.] But my point here is this; I can guarantee that Jason doesn't know he is being demoted until Zordon announces it. But Jason is happy by this [I know why he is happy; I am not going to put that here, because I don't want to give too much away.] But you would be thinking you would be a little bit angry in some way.

Double-team: The Red Dragon Thunderzord/The Red Dragon Thunderzord: Warrior Mode is sitting on this new Zord [yes after this episode I will use his name, I just don't like giving too much away at the point of it getting introduced; after the fact in future episodes is fine.] But we have these two Zords working together as if The Red Dragon Thunderzord /The Red Dragon Thunderzord: Warrior Mode was a Jouster using his Staff as a Lance [the camera shot at some point switches to first-person shooter,] so the viewers can see where The Red Dragon Thunderzord/The Red Dragon Thunderzord: Warrior Mode is hitting on these monsters with his Staff; this highly imaginative action and art.

This episode receives: 10/10, this episode is top-notch entertainment, it has lots of top-quality things going on and it most definitely changes the landscape of this TV program at this point.
