5 things about this episode
Warning: there are flashing/colourful/other effects in
this episode.
Who is Adam?/Moral messages: Now in one
way or another this episode is situated around him; be it in the storyline of
him; guiding, supporting and training one of his and Rocky's martial arts
students [Sean] or some Z-Putties [holding Adam still] whilst Goldar uses the
Mirror of Regret to show Adam what he used to be like growing up. On both
counts be it the storyline or the character developments of Adam's back story
in one way or another; they are okay they do the job they are designed to do
and we have two moral messages of basically self-confidence and keep
practicing.
Monster for this episode: this is one of those occasions where I wish they didn't destroy this
monster, now I should be a little bit more precise; what I mean is; save this
monster for a two-parter at least; it is a hyena [descendent of a hyena,]
because after Lord Zedd has worked his magic on this picture from Sean's book;
it is massive in comparison to a Earth hyena and it is quick and from an
artistic perspective it is highly imaginative as it is a skeleton with red eyes
and an appropriate voice and everything that comes with that; what we have here
is art of the highest quality.
This episode receives: 5/10, this episode is mixed; this episode feels like it should belong
in Season 1, what with its storyline; character developments of Adam and Sean
individually, even and it's moral messages; it isn't as free-flowing or
energetic as I am accustomed to seeing in this Season; Season 2.
