Review Time: this film is excellent
Fundamental elements: there are
voice-over elements, cultural elements, background music, mental imagery, time
jumps and place jumps.
Movement; it
gets better the more you watch of this film
Storyline/Back stories: the storyline is
good; the back stories get shown to us via mental imagery, photographs, home
video or in the dialogue exchanges.
Action sequences/Artistic visions/Comedy level: there is tenpin bowling, moving on to the artistic visions; they
range from art work, this cloud to singing and putting this adult language word
on this toast which has been cut into four quarters [yes this can be seen as a
comedy element as well] and finally for the comedy level; well here is
something for you to look out for; watch out for the waxing scene.
Character developments/Performances: now there is a reason why I haven't said too much about this film so
far, it is because it is a drama project so without giving too much away this
project is based around these five characters/performers [one is sadly no
longer here,] so it leaves the remaining four characters/performers to pick up
the pieces and try to move on with their lives, but in one way or another there
is clearly chemistry or friction, yes depending where you are; is depending
what you get.
Now to begin
with minus the youngest character/performer the chemistry/friction feels really
forced, but the more you go through this title; the more things just click, let
me put it this way when these characters/performers live at the same address,
this is where this film just gets better and better, so between these four
characters they make this film this mark which I will give it in the next
section.
This film receives: 8/10, after
everything is said and done this deserves this mark.
