Review Time: this film is good
Fundamental elements: there are
voice-over elements, environmental, background music, cultural elements,
slow-motion effects, place jumps and time jumps
The movement
of this project is straightforward it knows what it is doing from beginning to
end and this is not the only time I will be saying something to this effect.
Back stories/Storyline: likewise on both counts they are straightforward, the back stories
get discussed, the narratives could be the same thing but from different
perspectives for example a set of characters/performers including one main
character/performer seeking the other main character/performer or having this
elderly couple having their own narrative, but at one point or another they
will merge or break off from one another, the storyline is good. The ending is
solid, but I can't really criticize it for not showing us the viewers what
happened next to any of these characters. Because it is a situation based
project, this basically means the viewers join the project just before the
situation occurs or progressively gets worse, so anything before or after this;
it doesn't matter because it is just designed to focus on this time frame and nothing
more.
Action sequences/Artistic visions/Comedy level: there are weapons being used, chasing, a motorboat, jet skis, on and
under water sequences, onto the artistic visions everything to do with these
stained glass windows and here is something for you to look out for there is a
cat. The comedy level for an example there is this old husband-and-wife and the
wife is for 95% of the time nagging her husband or let's just say being the
domineering one.
Character developments/Performances: once again on both counts these are reliably good, the character
developments are what they are and the performances are good, there is
chemistry/friction [depending where you are; is depending what you get.]
This film receives: 7/10, you may have got this impression by now, but I'm going to say
it anyway this film has a solidly good formula and identity to it and it sticks
to it
