M.A.S.K. [Mobile Armored Strike Kommand] 85 -- 86 [Disc 1] Episode 1:
The Deathstone by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: to begin this review I want to say one thing and
it would be this; I have decided to do these reviews differently because yes
this TV program in a nutshell is good, but by just watching the first episode I
am going to be honest with you, if I was to dictate these reviews as standard
reviews I would struggle to keep these reviews fresh and possibly interesting,
this is not a bad thing, but what I can remember of this TV program, the
episode qualities are nothing terrible but also nothing to perfection most of
the time either [let's try and leave this paragraph on a positive note, at
least the episodes are consistently interesting and good to watch.]
On a side note, I
have put the word MASK as it gets shown on the box set/in the picture above [M.A.S.K.] I was
thinking I would just say this before I got any complaints or comments.
3 things about this episode
Scott and T-Bob: these two characters spend most of the time
together and I would feel comfortable suggesting that these two characters take
up the position of learning, getting into trouble, bringing most of the comedy
level to this TV series and many other little bits and pieces [these two
characters are basically this TV program's version of Orko from the TV program
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe from 1983 to 1985,] but they are not as
irritating as Orko that is for sure.
Storyline: this storyline is good, it makes sense from beginning to end and it
shows a little bit of everything that this TV program has to offer
Ending message: in a nutshell it is this; look both ways before
crossing the road [in this example Scott goes running after a ball.]
This episode receives: 70% approval, everything about this
episode is good it just knows what it wants to do and it gets on with it.
