He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 7] Episode
38: Valley of Power by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: this episode is good, but this TV program needs
Skeletor back as soon as possible either full-time or part-time at this point I
couldn't care which one [part-time means he may make an appearance or have a
limited amount of scenes.]
Prince Adam/Cringer and He-Man/Battle Cat: are
the strongest positives to this episode, yes the action-packed sequences are
good and they bring something to the table. But between these four characters
[yes I am aware that I am talking about one person and one creature.]
But between these
four characters throughout this episode, they in their pairings express their
personality traits to a very high standard as we have firstly Prince
Adam/Cringer as the Prince has to quickly grab Cringer's tale to make sure his
friend doesn't fall and this dialogue exchange shows that these two characters
get along very well.
He-Man/Battle Cat
also share many dialogue exchanges throughout these sequences, sometimes
including action-packed sequences, their dialogue exchanges are completely
different they are firstly serious, but when it is appropriate or dealing with
the situation, they will say a comical comment most of the time.
Action sequences: as I have already said they are good,
they have plenty to offer their viewers, it is always a good thing to see
Battle Cat get more involved in an episode [that is all I can say without
giving too many surprises away,] because between these two characters they
somewhat speed up this episode as it relates to its scene consistencies and
atmosphere controls, you see at the beginning stages of this episode, it moves
slow to okay-ish, but when He-Man/Battle Cat spend more and more time on screen
this episode stops dragging its feet.
Ending message: in a nutshell it roughly talks about the environment
This episode receives: 68% approval, I wasn't too keen on the
evildoer used in this adventure but there is always something happening but the
more you watch of this episode, the more it feels like everything is working
off one another.
