He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 8] Episode 47:
Keeper of the Ancient Ruins by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: this episode is such a slow burner.
Cringer/Battle Cat: individually they bring so much to this
episode, firstly Cringer is funny in some of his dialogue exchanges and
secondly Battle Cat has some wonderful scenes or sequences in this episode, it
could be where he has He-Man riding on his back [in these rainy/stormy weather
sequences] or where Battle Cat has all four paws/some claws digging into a part
of this building [so that he is roughly standing on his back legs and holding
onto this building whilst this bad weather either passes them or He-Man is
sorting something out.]
Trap Jaw: how to put this politely, I was very happy to see this character in
this episode, he does a fair amount to make this episode interesting [including
the other elements I have already discussed] and not forgetting He-Man does
have some good action-packed sequences as well [but I cannot talk about them
because I have already discussed Battle Cat's sequences.] I don't discuss too
much of one element in any of my reviews, especially if what I am reviewing is
only roughly 22 minutes long if that, but having said that it doesn't stop me
from pointing out I am aware that He-Man
has some good action-packed sequences in this adventure as well.
Ending message: in a nutshell it is this; go and visit a Museum.
This episode receives: 62% approval, there are many good
elements to this episode but it does take some time for this episode to get
going into the swing of things.
