He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 5] Episode 30: The
Taking of Grayskull by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: this episode would have been given a higher
percentage of approval if one character wasn't in this episode [Orko.]
Artistic visions/Action sequences: these
elements are strongly represented in this episode; they have a beautiful
balance where the audience gets taken on this well explained adventure.
Where the artistic
visions are plentiful and there has been great imagination used as well and not
forgetting Castle Grayskull still looks fantastic even around these different
surroundings.
The action-packed
sequences, have also been given the same kind of respect as it relates to
different action-packed sequences, it could be a small selection of characters
in this one location trying to sort out this situation or it could be Battle
Cat having some sequences or scenes with or without He-Man.
Orko: this character gets his own storyline elements in this episode and they
are just so cheesy and boring [this is where this episode loses so many
percentages of approval.
Ending message: roughly; don't eat too many sweets between meals.
This episode receives: 70% approval, this episode has a very
good mixture of things to see and to hear, but did the Orko storyline elements
have to be in this episode. Because everything else works as a well put
together machine and then you add this storyline on top and it just
continuously puts the breaks on everything.
