He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 6] Episode 35: The Sleepers Awaken by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is mediocre.

He-Man: well in this episode he has all the best bits, it could be is dialogue exchanges or action sequences or anything else in a nutshell it is a good thing he has big shoulders, because he carries this episode from the time he enters, until he leaves.

Evildoers: wow these evildoers are so boring, please bring back Skeletor full time or part time or at least use one of his minions [yes even one of Skeletor's minions could do better than these two characters.]

Ending message: is something to this effect; it is important to have a consistent bedtime schedule.

This episode receives: 40% approval, now even though I have pretty much outlined the fact that this episode is boring in one way or another, my percentage of this episode is to highlight how much He-Man really does carry this episode, he makes things interesting or with his action-packed sequences entertaining or that kind of thing, it is highly appropriate at this time for me to bring this up,

I never realized how much this TV program relies on He-Man or Skeletor to be at the very least somewhere around these episodes and just for the record I am very much aware that other animated TV programs have a similar problem, it is noticeable in other TV programs and maybe they tried to skate over the episode quickly, but as it relates to this TV program it feels like a massive hole has been left when for an example Skeletor isn't around either full-time or part-time, it doesn't matter which option they took but now looking back on it when they wanted to take this character out for some episodes, they should have given more episodes to his followers or minions [yes they have done that in some episodes,] by doing this; they would have given their supporting characters more time to grow which in turn growth means your characters would have potentially and eventually a different way of thinking or a new skill set or the possibilities are endless.
