Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/ stabbing/shooting/religion/assisted death/cutting/impaling/animal cruelty/medical. I will be discussing dark themes that may be uncomfortable for some; I want to make it crystal clear I am talking about it in the confines of the film and nothing more.

This film is mostly a hot steaming pile of garbage: we meet Robin Hood /another name [Hugh Jackman:] as he is now a much older man, after his latest battle he is dropped off to seek medical assistance that he does not want.

General speaking: someone pleased tell me that this script was written predominantly when they were sitting up on the toilet having a dump? because man it is awful, so basically without giving too much away obviously… this film focuses on the character development of character, but throughout history we mostly get to see him in his 30s roughly, but here he is possibly somewhere around 50s or early 60s, my point being is that historically in film or TV we don't know this version, we have nothing to go on here, so did we get any exposition character development or anything like mental imagery into the past?... absolutely not, so all we got given was references to It was all a liar and two old stories that we already know or nothing remotely interesting and so what Hood killed another character’s husband, I mean when this established in this film I was so passed actually caring that it makes it pointless and if you think I am being harsh it also gets established in just before a bit more than the final quarter of this movie to go.

I mean for about 85% of this film which it does go on for roughly122 minutes not a lot really happens; basically we have the house burning and then we have Heading into the final quarter of this movie, other than that you may as well see this film for a large amount of it like playing a Sims video game with little tasks and so on and so forth, you see because the script doesn't actually have a lot going on the framework and pasting of this movie either individually altogether with the script feels really long and tiresome.

Action and art; I only have really one action sequence I can discuss and it doesn't go on for too long either; it is someone comes for a pound of flesh and a mistake Hood for someone else, it really does set the standard for the other action sequences, but then you come to realize after watching that was the best. This film tries so hard to be engaging which on some levels it is; they really do try to make you feel immersed in the scenes/ sequences with captivating interpretations for example when Hood is badly hurt and we see things from his perspective or I think mental perspective as well, but I could be wrong about this common so this was in turn interesting character developments and a small asset to this title alongside the art as well, of course we also have the landscapes, set designs comma wardrobe and accessories all top quality.

Character development and performance; well with without everything I have set up to this point anyway these character types are the standard for this kind of movie outline, Which are a best formulaic and the worst I felt nothing for them which I am leaning heavy to the latter, I was just trying to give you two options which are possible. I know, I know this film is  set down in centuries past, but and before I continue no I am not religious, but then again I know that this topic within the UK is a hot topic…I just don't know how wise it was to have assisted suicide in this project going handed hand with someone/character of religious Christian beliefs, I am aware that assisted death/suicide is not against the Bible but it is looked by some as unfavorable and I am very much aware that assisted death is an option to some, I just put assisted death/ suicide to keep everyone happy as in whatever your opinion is I have covered it for you, other than that and just talking about in a film context and for the performance they do feel formulate As they are doing a solid job, I mean that is why it is important to fill in some of the 30-year age gap so we can identify with Hood in particular.

This film receives: 2/10,this film is poor; yes it may look Highly engaging from time to time, but other than that this film offers very little; stumbles throughout it's time frame
