Welcome to SavMart: briefly; more specifically; Photo Finish; where Seymour "Sy" Parrish/"Sy the Photo Guy"/other characters [Robin Williams:] he is the manager of this unit,As a photo technician, he is a relatively quiet and subdued person, the only really liked was talking to his favourite customers; Yorkin family; specifically Nina Yorkin [Connie Nielsen:] she is the matriarch of this family that everything at home becomes a bit rocky between her and her husband.

Generally speaking: the storyline/script is excellently written, but it is designed to focus on progressing situation and anything past that is irrelevant and to feed that narrative we start from roughly towards the end and then start at the beginning; accompanied with now and again there storyteller/narrations from Parrish, so the framework and pacing of this 96 minutes film is good as Parrish/Williams is predominantly the maestro/conductor behind the success of this film in one way or another.

Art, character developments and action; this wall of photographs of stolen memories and dark art Parrish mass bleeding from the eyes and this hotel a sequence of events is good action.

Character developments and performances; broadly speaking all the character developments are solidly good versions of what they are meant to be and the vast majority of the cast reflect those character types with good performances. Now we can discuss Williams; with the character developments he was given to work with as in essentially a ball of dough; that he could mould and sculpture to his will as Parrish; he is a complicated individual, that it is indicated he has been through a lot, but instead of screaming about it; he just puts a layers upon layers and so on and so forth on top of it, to the point where we see today what kind of person he has become, with the only kind of performance that a incredibly well versed comedian/performer like Williams can give; because any quality comedian has to have the ability to take its audience to a dark place or pullback or pivot or react to another situation within a split second all whilst making it look like that in the individual [comedian is in control;] making everything look and feel incredibly normal; now if we were to scale back the comical aspect of being comedian by 95% [because there is a moment of dark comedy where Parrish asks himself; what is wrong with these people? Whilst he is spying on the Yorkin family,] but I digress; whilst still maintaining the natural abilities and highly polished skills as I have already broadly outlined mix in some trauma, loneliness and being able to normalise the strangest of behaviour that is what Williams brings to the table as he embodies Parrish; so I am absolutely furious to find out that Williams didn't even receive an Oscar nomination for this role; in the category of; Best Actor in a Lead Role; without a shadow of doubt he should have been nominated; I mean this is just criminal that we didn't receive it; so screw it I am going to adjust my marking is accordingly to reflect is performance and Nielsen puts in an excellent performance as she by nature is a good person, so she tries to navigate Parrish as she tries to bring the less slightly off-putting traits of Parrish; even though he is deceiving her.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; it is definitely one of those films that you need to see once in a lifetime; Williams is just world-class in this role as I may have already made it crystal clear at this point. This film also has some awards accredited to its name such as 6 Winners which include but not limited to Fangoria Chainsaw Awards 2003 Chainsaw Award Best Actor Robin Williams and 23 Nominees which also include but not limited to; we will turn back to this event/ceremony where it gets recognised for Best Supporting Actress Connie Nielsen
