Well this film almost put me to sleep: briefly; we meet Kaulder [Vin Diesel:] he is a man that has been made in mortal; by an immortal curse roughly 800 years later, he works for the Axe and Cross; capturing and imprisoning mystical individuals alongside Dolan 36th [Michael Caine:] he also works for the Axe and Cross; as on some level his assistant with knowledge and the paperwork side of things, but he is very close to retirement as he himself is not immortal and has been doing this job for 50 years.

Generally speaking: the storyline/script is very much an origin and subsequently revenge, character developments; exposition of what is says on the side of the tin, the framework and pacing of this 106 minutes film is extremely pedestrian; if we are being honest with one another it this whole section of the storyline/script, character developments, framework and pacing may indeed fulfil that purpose; but it is all pretty much dull and lifeless.

Art, character developments and action; the set designs, wardrobe and memory components with more exposition and action; make things look okay or/and functional for their purpose, the action sequences with spells they are good and not forgetting this artistry telling of this history of these characters known as Dream Walkers; this may be a very short sequence of events; but it is the only artistry that sticks out in this film, sword action are pretty much meh for me

Character developments and performances; I know I have already said this; but if I say it again, it really should/does drive the message home that these characters are moments are very formulaic; yes absolutely they serve this purpose to a solid standard and likewise the performances are either a reflection of those character developments or/and on their own merits a paint by numbers level performances on what they should be for this movie.

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; after everything is said and done this mark is the right outcome, everything about this film is either as I have already referenced in one way or another slow and drifty or/and formulaic, I mean I know what they were trying to do but man this film is a lot of man, they are also working on the sequel to this project which having an educated guess so I could still be a little bit long, roughly the sequel could come out 12 years or more after this project which I believe could be possibly way too long between instalments; considering this film isn’t actually that stronger begin with as something that stands out or you know comfortably engages you enough to say that I want to see a sequel of this; even though full disclosure the person that I watch some this content with has said we will see the sequel; as we have both already said hoping it is somewhat quicker than this film or a bit more enthusiastic would be nice and for those that like random knowledge; there is a cameo by Kurt Angle as Bodyguard #4: now I didn't see it, but I looked up the cast listing and consequently scene photo and there he is and finally yes this film has a single accredited award to its name in the form of; 1 Nominee Golden Trailer Awards 2016 Golden Trailer Golden Fleece
