On a night out: briefly; Tommy [Anson Boon:] this individual embodies everything that is wrong with our society today in 2026 and beyond, unless something drastic with changes, which I don't see happening any time soon. But I digress; from out of nowhere he gets taken and held hostage, until he learns to be a better person; he gets taken by Chris [Stephen Graham:] he and his family kidnap/adopt Tommy as their own.

Generally speaking: the storyline/script is good; it clearly points out that you can basically be an unpleasant person, getting away with this kind of behaviour because it is the modern culture for doing things for content; the likes and so and so forth and coinciding we get some exposition before the opening title. But and I am not condoning any of what you may see in this film, but the message is clear that; we aren't going to put up with this garbage anymore; if you have been around cinema as long as I have; this movie definitely falls into the category of; if we are going to make this film, let's go the whole hog so that there is no confusion about some of this film. The framework and pacing of this 110 minutes film is good; as I was just referencing; it has a very clear outlay of what it wants to do and just gets on with it.

Action and art; there is torture and much later on we now this pleasant staged location for a romantic scene; I like the usage of the bulbs lighting.

Character developments and performances; the character developments are good for what they are, but we never find out what actually happened to this member of the family, which is really disappointing; because I'm not justifying what takes place in this location; but then again it is one of those types of things where you go; that explains a lot. Whilst we are in this location and throughout this film; the four crucial characters all have good chemistry and should be very happy with the results of this project and based on these performances I have decided to award this film another mark.

This film receives: 7/10, this film is good; if you like weird films this will suit you down to the ground. This film also has some awards accredited to its name such as 2 Winners Valladolid International Film Festival 2025 Seminci Joven Award
