Average Extra of: Premiership Problem: West Ham vs. Arsenal Match Robbery: 10/05/2026 by AverageMansReviews

Now we have a problem... Premiership: the problem is quite clearly you have made a pig's ear of this one decision to disallow this goal for West Ham and the funny thing is over minus Arsenal fans obviously you have all the different football fans from different leagues myself included asking if this rule has been in place for the last 18 months, how come it hasn't been remotely enforced? Further to the point how come whenever Arsenal score from this method the goal hasn't been disallowed? I have seen many incidents where they have been basically hassling the goalkeeper and handling the goalkeeper in question including but not limited to the defenders yet the goal stood.

Yet when no disrespect but a smaller club in West Ham do it... you take every proper caution roughly about 4 minutes, you have a proper conversation about it, you look in any look again and then you look again, this incident is a national embarrassment.

My language when I say; it is a national embarrassment, I am absolutely fine in using it, because minus the Arsenal fans again, because anyone with two brain cells would have the intelligence to point out that Arsenal scoring 17 goals [as of this content being first created,] using this style of corner as in everything on top of the goalkeeper;] if the referee in it had used the same protocol I can see 10 goals being talked off easily; for essentially manhandling either the goalkeeper or defensive players; this is sloppy refereeing and on top of that or they actually don't discuss the way that Arsenal have brought the premiership into national shame; with the alleged way they play football, taking up that much time as possible, hitting the floor as much possible, but then again get angry when a small club like West Ham play them at their own game, I like how people are saying Arsenal's Number 1 goalkeeper; David Raya is the best and will win them the premiership: unless he is mutating into Spider-Man; his hands/possession spend a lot longer then 8 seconds around the football, so by letter of the law you should have booked twice for time wasting consequently sent off: just the record Raya can't hold a candle to Peter or/and Kasper Schmeichel: they individually earned their accolades.

The sad thing is; we have had this for most of the season where the Arsenal fans have been deluded and yes you have been deluded, as I have right now some Arsenal fans goading me on social media and I am not going to bite, because... Good for you... you have found a way to win by hook or by crook... good for you.

Now allow me to educate you... you poor Arsenal fans or the majority of you... for me personally I couldn't be associated with this absolute joke of a football club and its deluded hostile fans, the only ones that have any dignity putting on the Arsenal shirt is your women's side, as they play with passion, highly skilled and play the game how it should be played and whilst I am talking about Arsenal can somebody please put a sock in Martin Keown's mouth, I can listen to anyone else that has played for Arsenal, defending Arsenal or anything over just not him, at least any other ex-player tells it as it is good, bad, the ugly, but everything that comes out of Keown's mouth is completely 100% biased and 9 times out of 10 I don't want to see anyone lose their job, but for him and on the biased reasoning I would like him to not be given a platform to be honest, if you can't do a professional job and be unbiased then get stepping.

But I digress; back to the Arsenal fans; you are aware that if you win the premiership this year, you will be the most undeserving team to ever do this and on top of that every football club around the country would be absolutely delighted for you to fall on your face for the next decade at least to not win it right? That is the kind of level at minimum dislike you are cultivating with your biased, loud brash attitude and if you can put up with that; that is all good, but when the bubble bursts, don't be surprised if there isn't any sympathy or empathy or any kind words, because as things stand you're making a rod your own back that will eventually hit you on the butt.

To finish off; I hope the premiership review that this whole season; to make it harder for Arsenal or/and any other clubs that are thinking of adopting these tactics to make me think twice, because by the looks of it West Ham will be paying the ultimate price, which I actually feel an element of empathy or sympathy towards them, because they actually took Arsenal's tactics and when they could they actually put some flair into their football and actually attacked; I know this is a hollow victory but knowing you did nothing wrong and the West Ham manager: Nuno EspĂrito Santo; in theory should be absolutely delighted with how the system worked, and if you do end up getting relegated it is imperative he stays as your manager; with him he will bring you back up straight away, without him you might be back in 5 years or more.

Additional: because I have just seen a clip of Danny Murphy; making this reference because it's Arsenal; I can't make this more clear and this is where I think the football pundits get it wrong and misunderstand; we don't have a problem with Arsenal per se; we have a problem with Arsenal's tactics and how seemingly it is perfectly fine for them to use these tactics, but for an example when West Ham mirror these tactics; then there was this massive enquiry... I thought this was obvious... but obviously not Murphy thanks for clearing that up for us. Yes we want different names on the premiership title, but where the resentment comes from is not like this and as I have said this roughly 3 times in this content or referenced in this content... when West Ham go literally toe to toe with Arsenal using the same tactics, but when West Ham scored goal in basically the same fashion as Arsenal have all season... then the football community.... yet surprisingly angry and if you're wondering my team as of this content being first created again is not in the premiership, so I'm just speaking as a football fan.
