Average Extra of: I am Celebrity South Africa 2026: The Chaos by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning: there will be some censored adult language references

This first aired Tuesday 21/04/2026: broadly speaking; it was a team trial where some celebrities got to choose their teammate; Jimmy Bullard chose Adam Thomas; where these two were getting on like best friends including holding each other's hand down to this trial for choosing their team [now this is all crucially important information for what happened next:] now the rules state; the losing team will be heading home and eliminated from this year's competition or  if any celebrity says the important words "I am a celebrity get me out of here" the team that they are part of gets eliminated.

So they start the trial Thomas does his part, Bullard doesn't move, Thomas continues, Bullard doesn't do anything and broadly isn't feeling it so he says those words and leaves Thomas hanging basically obviously Thomas is not best pleased with this turn of events in fact he uses much beeped out language and what I found weird, fascinating and is plainly wrong is Bullard and the other celebrities were like broadly calm down and the sentiment of there was no need for that language.

I was sitting there going; I may not be the biggest Thomas fan, but he is behaviour his reasonable based on what has just happened, so after Bullard had left the show putting it down to he wanted to go home and his father wasn't in the best health, so if your family members are not in the best health how about you don't go on to TV and get paid somewhere between 70,000-£100,000 and actually look after your family?

Instead of deliberately picking somebody that you know apparently is your good friend and then stabbed them in the back I don't give two manure dumplings about your family outside this bubble or/and the fact you apologised to Thomas; as Thomas points out Bullard could very easily just walked out of camp end of story, but for the fact you took Thomas down with you that is just all kinds of wrong and cowardly, because I come from a very poor background and a very blue collar family, regardless of how I am feeling unless I am throwing up/it is coming out of the other end or my wheelchair breaks down or something massively comes out of the blue, I mean there have been many times throughout my life I have meetings or meeting up with somebody I sometimes look like garbage but I am where I should be.

So the remaining celebrities were given the option to allow Thomas to stay, because Bullard did not try in the trial and they all agreed. But the whole point of this content is this; some of the celebrities in one where another made reference to Thomas being out of line and even he said something to the effect of I know.

I am sitting here going to the person I watch some of this contend with definitely getting a bit twitchy in my eye, because this whole entire situation is back to front and upside down; because minus Thomas no one actually seems angry with Bullard, even though he left Thomas sinking on the Titanic... this is why men's mental health isn't taken in the slightest seriously, because Thomas had every right to confront Bullard with his adult language, I would deem that be absolutely normal behaviour based on their entirety of this situation, yet when it comes to the crunch none of the celebrities actually say to be honest his outburst was somewhat justified, as long as he didn't get physical with Bullard then being verbal is a normal and for short-term healthy response to the actual situation Thomas was in, then we have a celebrity the century coming to the diary room going broadly speaking I would have said Bullard what he going?

I mean so the person that doesn't do anything wrong gets a little bit of needle from the group and the person that does something wrong may have a few comments from the other celebrities but that is it. I just don't get it; so when a man expresses himself and rightly so you basically gets told he is being out of line, now I don't know whether he was joking, but he did make reference to talking about this with his counsellor and finally let's talk about the elephant in the room, because the way in this situation went down, inadvertently without saying a word; it tells me a lot about the celebrities that are still here, that the vast majority of them are just here for the money, that is possibly why they have taken the stance they have, why get angry with somebody when you are still going to get paid?

I mean it came over crystal clear and it hit like a bolt of lightning, that the majority of the celebrities that are still remaining possibly don't care because at the end of the day there are still going to get paid thousands upon thousands of pounds, so the moral of the story is... Thomas did nothing wrong, we need to talk more about men's mental health and how to express it and quite clearly not to shove it straight back in ourselves, it is quite clear that these celebrities are more or less here for the money and to leave this content on this bombshell which is an obvious bombshell but I am still going to leave this content on it; I can guarantee you that if a female celebrity went through this injustice these celebrities would rally around her.
