Warning: this content is going to be for over 18's quite clearly this content is going to have adult centred language but adult language nonetheless and I will give you the courtesy the warning that this content is going to be uncomfortable for most.

I would like to focus on other content: but this still keeps on progressing in one way or another on Friday 27/02/2026 I watched a topical programme in the UK by the name of The Last Leg on Channel 4: originally it was designed to cover The Paralympic Games 2012, but it was so popular that soon after they got their own topical TV program: but more or less the disabled community were at the forefront and surrounding topics, including but not limited to other headlining topics.

But the more recent series they have been focusing less and less on the disabled community case in point in this episode it took them 36 minutes from an hour block TV program which is live to bring up John Davison by the 37th minute it was over as they moved on to a different topic without discussing Davison whatsoever.

So at best this is what the main presenter Adam Hills had to say on it " Now if you don't know this John Davison is the Tourette's campaigner, his life was turned into a BAFTA award winning film on Sunday he was at the award ceremony, where his Tourette's caused him to show out involuntary noises, which some were massively offensive, one was an horrific racial slur another said proceedings were boring, another was he shouted out child sex offender, when the host made the joke about Paddington Bear and if anyone saw Paddington's attempts at a joke later that night, you'll know that wasn't the worst thing to happen to him that night... And look we can't imagine what it is to have a racial slur shouted at you no matter what the reason, but we know what it is like to be disabled, there has to be a duty of care to make sure that people with disabilities are supported, there also has to be duty of care to make sure that people of colour feel they are in a safe space as well, and this feels like none of this was effectively done all night, the BBC have apologised for airing a racial slur, BAFTA have also apologised, Michael B. Jordan & Delroy Lindo said no one from BAFTA spoke to them at immediately afterwards to explain what had happened, but Paddington did offer them a hug and said I know tough crowd, the BBC have now said they are investigating the incident." [With co-presenter: Alex Brooker making a joke about how often the BBC apologise and are investigating incidents] we have Hills moving on to a different subject and that was that. Full disclosure; I should point out that I only modified one word in this speech and you can guess which word it is, because I just changed it to its meaning: of child sex offender and the second thing is both of these presenters are disabled in one way or another.

So not only did this TV program show a little support and understanding for Davison, did they not actually open up the floor to their guests to have their opinion, not only did they not talk about the fact Tourette's is a disability and we should spend a little time like 10 minutes giving you the basics or/and if you want to know more here is a link to a website, but you had to be seen to sitting on the fence with this safe space hollocks, I get called unpleasant names all the time, you don't see me crying home to mummy every time it happens.

But then again if you didn't spend a good section of this episode talking about the UK by-elections and alleged sex offenders, you may have had more time to talk about what this TV program was originally founded upon the disabled community other than a minute here and some video packages hyping up the 2026 Paralympics and then dedicating more time to alleged sex offenders.

Do you know what is absolutely terrifying and once I say it; you will think Holy Manure! Of all people Pierce Morgan has done more for John Davison over this past week, as in holding people who count for what they have said online about Davison and trying to get through their thick heads that Tourette's Syndrome is a involuntary disability/condition, he has even got a medical professional is well versed in Tourette's to point out very clearly and very precisely that in a nutshell he meaning Davison cannot help it and we even have people agreeing with Morgan that don't usually agree with him with some indicating something to the effect of that is how much this world is screwed up I am agreeing with Pierce Morgan.

But briefly back to The Last Leg I don't care if this is live TV, you basically swept Davison under the carpet as quickly as possible and you should be ashamed of yourselves, I should clarify I am not asking you to take sides, because I am an early 40s disabled man and wise enough to identify the fact that no one has won here, but if one thing is true this week that would be a serious lacking awareness about Tourette's and what you should have done was focused on the disability, but I have been watching this TV program for years with person I watch some others contend with and we have noticed as I referenced earlier essentially they have gone mainstream with if you're lucky short stories or bits about disabilities, so thanks for leaving one's that originally gave you your TV program in the dust.
